- Region 3, 5A UIL Marching Competion. Mesquite Memorial Stadium, Oct 13, 2010. My son would die if he knew this, but this was my favorite band out of all the band that I saw. They executed the music and the story very very well.
I was Juliet. 😊 looking back years later this was so much fun. They have amazing instructors! Go LH!

I played in the Berkner Band in the 1970s. I nearly passed out when I saw this video.
Many LH band fans may ask the very valid question of why this band did not make it to state. I can think of two things. First of all, this LH band was not of the size of the other 5A (now 6A) bands. Second, this band did not use rifles as effectively as some of the other 5A bands.
But when I heard the amazing sound of this LH band, I nearly passed out in front of the computer. This is one of the most beautiful full symphonic sounds I have ever heard from a marching band. They sound like a symphony orchestra on the march.
I LOVED this show. I saw them perform it and I have to say this has been my favorite high school marching show. I liked it even more than my own band's shows.
This show gives me chills everytime...
im in this band and this was before i got there but this will be the best show i have ever seen come from my band -guardgirl :)
