We had a flame point Siberian and he was the most chill, coolest cat I’ve ever been around. He always cuddled with who needed it the most.

I thought I had poltergeists for a while. I kept walking into the kitchen to find every cabinet open. Gandalf was doing it, evidently, just because he could. lol

Siberian cats are extremely sociable. If you think that you can be left alone in the toilet, then you are clearly not the owner of a Siberian cat. When you go to bed, the Siberian cat is always nearby and busy choosing the most optimal place to sleep. This may take some time, up to half an hour. If you live in your own home and have problems with mice or rats, then the Siberian cat is an ideal hunter. The Siberian cat is absolutely devoted to family members, but is absolutely merciless towards mice and rats. Its thick fur protects it from retaliatory rat bites, and it has an advantage in fighting even a pack of rats. The Siberian cat is very affectionate with people, but it is not a toy. Russians, and especially Russians living in Siberia, would never waste time raising a useless pet. Because of this, she has a need to bring a killed rat or mouse to her owner and receive a reward for a successful hunt. Some owners are shocked when their beautiful fluffy cat brings them a dead rat and waits for them to pet it. You should not expect that as soon as you bring home a Siberian cat, it will destroy all the rats within a day. Cats are larger than rats, but rats live in packs. Some rat packs attacking together can kill and eat a cat. I had a problem with a pack of rats eating through the cement floor from the basement. I set traps against them, they learned not to touch them, I used rat poison against them and killed only one rat. I took one Siberian cat for free because the breeder did not need her because she was already 9 months old and very difficult to sell. But I just needed a more or less adult cat so that the rat pack would not kill and eat her, so the deal was very successful... The rat pack was successfully kicked out of the apartment and the cat earns every gram of its food, I consider this a very successful deal.

First off, you need to give him time and patience.
This behavior is perfectly normal and doesn’t mean something’s wrong. It’s just your kitten’s natural self-preservation instincts kicking in.
Slowly introduce him to the new environment, and try not to startle him or make loud noises. If you have kids around, let them know how to behave around the kitten.
When approaching him, do it slowly, so he’ll know he’s not in any kind of danger. Also, try to initiate play, kittens love to play and this will help you bond with him.
Overall, just take it slowly and it’ll be fine.
