Are there any documentaries there that aren't 20 years old with terrible mastered audio as a bonus?
Because this 'professional' youtube channel uploads a lot of stuff that's really sub-par and outdated.
Take a look at the competition, any 20 year old with a modern pc can make better stuff than this.
No way I'd ever pay for this.

When I joined the army, in 1988, all training was focused on Warsaw Pact countries. It was constantly Ivan this and Ivan that. Next thing I know we’re in Southwest Asia fighting for oil. Now the troops have been training in desert warfare and will most likely end up in Ukraine. 😂

Yep, things change. With the dissolution of the USSR a lot of things changed for a lot of people and countries. Now China is on the rise and things will change again.
When WW2 ended it left the US with an Empire of Bases scattered around the globe. Since then, our troops have been fighting to maintain that Empire and to keep the Soviets from stepping in with their Empire intentions. Now China has empire intentions. We'll see how it turns out.

@@grantsmythe8625 if we keep trying to dictate what other countries do then I don’t think things will turn out too well for us in the future. It’s why we’re in an unfavorable position with Russia today. There’s really no NATO. There is, however, a USATO and it’s gonna be our downfall if we keep it up. It’ll be our fault too for not doing our jobs as US citizens truly should.

So the t90 smoke can be set off automatically by a certain type of laser? That’s not able to be used to an enemy advantage at all huh

    • @markfryer9880
      @markfryer9880 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I wondered about that! You only have so much smoke available, so what happens when your opponents have exhausted all of it for you by repeatedly lasering your tank? Your tank is now unprotected and the crew is over stressed from all of the laser warnings that they can't react properly to the true threat.

Potential battlefields of the future will be the Formosa Straits, the South China Sea, the Arabian Sea which is now of strategic interest to the Chinese due to the BRI and the Straits of Hermosa.
Hence, all will involve Naval, Marine, Amphibious and Air Warfare Platforms and tactics/strategy.
Hence, a massive Kursk style land warfare confrontation can only take place between India and Pakistan, between Communist North Korea and the Republic of South Korea, or limited armoured battles between India and China across the LAC.
In the case of Taiwan, the invading Chinese Force will make use of Amphibious Warfare Manurers, which will include all other arms of the PLA.
Ukraine and Russia might see some tank battles as both sides own MBTs and IFVs. Land warfare between the two can create interesting outcomes for defence studies and Geostrategy Experts who have an added interest in Snowwarfare Dimensions of Military Science.
In the Middle East, I don't see any Arab Army confronting either Iran or Israel after the collapse of Syria as a Military power due to the civil war and the removal of the Baathist regime of Saddam Hussein in Iraq(the guardian of the so-called eastern gate).
Where else armoured vehicles such IFvs, Mortar and Fixed Picket Artillery, tactical short-range missiles, Rocket fired by MLRS, SPGs (mobile artillery) and main battle tanks can be used?
Africa, SE-Asia or Latin America? Those are counterintuitive suggestions.

South Korea didn't "buy" BMP3, they got it for free as debt payment from the Russian,s ame with their T80s, which are mostly stored in the motor pool now because it's very problematic to maintain and inferior in performance than SK tanks.
