Becker is amazing. They actually make learning accounting interesting and they teach it "as if you slept through all your accounting courses in college". Also gotta love Peter Olinto's 'claim to fame' - being on the same football team and tackling Puff Daddy Combes.
I also went with the Becker CPA review course. But this was over 30 years ago and only cost me $700 at the time!! Conditioned two (2) parts here in California, followed by the remaining two (2) parts on the 2nd seating. But it was well worth it and highly recommended route if you're serious about sitting for the exam. In addition to my undergraduate degree in accountancy, I also earned an MBA in management. I enjoyed a fulfilling, successful and very lucrative 34 year career in corporate financial management with the Fortune 50's and now happily retired here in San Francisco! Again, I highly recommend going the Becker route. It definitely paved the way for me and will likewise for you, if you apply yourself accordingly. Best regards ALL!

Haha I know it's insane. The nice thing is most companies will help with the cost so it's not a straight out of pocket expense. I actually don't know anyone who has used Roger CPA. Most of my friends who passed the exam already used Becker - one of the main reasons why I decided to get it.
Don’t feel bad if you never even open those paper flash cards or use the final review. Most people i know definitely didn’t use them. I didn’t even finish all the multiple choice online. Also just keep an eye out for updated books, it happens pretty often, which is why most people don’t get books sent to them until they are going to study for the next part. It cost i think $20 to get an updated book if you have already received the older version.

I think it really depends on the company. At my company, every salary employee can work from home. As for logistics, it's actually pretty simple. I just log-on to my companies website and do what I normally would do at work. There's not that big of a difference in terms of what I can get to but at work I have double screens so it's not as easy to work with a laptop or my desktop at home. Hopefully that answers your question and let me know if there is something else you want clarified.
The online version is available for 18 months after you log-in or 24 months whichever is shorter. As for the text books, I’m not sure. I plan to finish in a 6 month timespan so I should have plenty of time.

You said in some that the coursework and the job in general is hard, but really would you say getting through the schooling is the hardest part? Hi! I'm glad that you found my channel and it's been helpful. I know this isn't going to be the best answer but it's really a different hard - being in school and actually working as an accountant. For me, the school work was difficult because it covered a lot of material over a short period of time and honestly I had to learn to study (I barely studied in high school). Now, in my career, it's tough because as you get further in your career, you take on more. So I wouldn't say it's hard because the actual work is hard but more because you have so much to do, if that makes sense. Again, that's just kind of my take on it. Good luck!!

I think the flash cards were additional! You do get the digital flash cards as part of the bundle I believe!
