Only if Newcastle agrees to pay the exorbitant asking fees that clubs would demand. And in the interest of sanity I'd rather we don't give into greedy asking prices, but thinkng as a neutral I wouldn't want to destroy competition in the league either. Agree with the energy but Bruce, who has been quoted as saying "I don't believe in tactics", is not the guy you want at the helm. Sure, he may bring the right names in but he'll have no idea, tactically, how to use them to their potential. I think passion from the players will drive out a couple of good results but they're setup the way Bruce wants so it'll only carry them so far. Bruce out, asap, and I think either they'll get Rafa (buying out his Everton contract) or someone young. He had one of the best transfer windows in Newcastle history and has regressed in the prem. we’ve played 7 games and he’s not managed a win, we concede a goal and he changed it to a back 5. Come on now, I know he did ok previously but for me I wouldn’t keep him on. As for players times have changed, city brought in their signing but this Newcastle side is all over the place. It’s going to take some work and more than one decent player before we even see stability in the league nevermind challenging for cups ect. Let’s face it club owners through the history of time have nearly always been moneyed crooks who didn’t give a damn about the fans. Just look how utd owners in the past cashed in on Munich whilst surviving players died in destitution and squalor.

Having to wait until Jan is better because - it prevents Newcastle rushing and getting someone just to get someone. With 3 or so months they can begin talking to the right players, explore buyout clauses, keep an eye on barca's financial situation and open discussions with them. Time to strategise here is key, especially if a new manager comes in and has his own targets. There is no other league's for managers like him for the future. He's already been in Germany. Spain is done. France is not a good enough league for him. So i belive he will be the new manager. He will already decide this season what to buy to get something to work with.

And as a Chelsea supporter from 1970 I know how exciting it is when suddenly your club can now compete with Liverpool, Arsenal and Man UTD. All the newer rich clubs have to take a lot of insults from other fans but who cares. Now you will win Tropheys that before you had no chance. The Chelsea ride has been so great. We were a club who entertained but did not win much. Look at us now. Newcastle will be the same. Eventually Newcastle will now win the Champions League. It means that much. The more so called lesser clubs get into this rich market the better for the English Ist Division. Even Competition.

Interesting see how it goes as Newcastle going to be well down the list of priorities of the investment fund based on their other companies - Man City Chelsea have less funds behind them but they have one owner who makes decisions as opposed to several having diff priorities

Carlo Anchelot should be the top target to build it like he did with young star s he discovered at Chelsea with players like Ramirez.

If he wins the Spanish title, he will stay at Real. But yes he would be a good coach. Meanwhile Conte is available.

Hire Conte. Give him a five year contract, and let him know he gets whatever he wants for the first 3 years...No restrictions.

^ this. Not a Newcastle fan, but Conte without restriction would get you challenging in 3 years

Supposedly Conte doesn't want to build a club from the bottom for his next job.
