    Off the subject, but my kids are in Classical Conversations this year for our homeschooling & everything we learned from Rob makes everything we are learning in regards to the maps and how everything is laid out, make sense. Anyway. So exciting! What music is this, I really like old school stuff

      Isn't it amazing how when we're given the truth to ponder we can start to test it and find out FINALLY something that makes sense. Kudos momma for teaching your children from a young age how to think for themselves and be bold to stand in testable, provable, biblical truth.
      I use old gospel records I buy at the thrift store for the music in my videos. Most of them are family bands who recorded an album but either never got a copyright or the copyright has expired so I can freely use the music without getting dinged by copyright laws. I like to think if the people knew their music was still alive for people to hear they would be happy 😊

      @@thissideofthefirmament you are so so sweet & I’m so thankful that God brought me to your channel. I will most definitely look out for old music like that, love it. That’s where I buy most everything is from the thrift store. Thanks for that tip!!

      It's definitely worth it to buy a record player, usually you can find them used too. The sound that comes out is so much better than the sound from cds or radio or computer speakers.

      And you don't know how delighted I am when someone recognizes my channel name for what it means! God loves to bring us together in unconventional ways. What state do you live in if you don't mind me asking?

    How long do these store for?

    • @thissideofthefirmament
      @thissideofthefirmament  ปีที่แล้ว

      A long long time. I've had mine in the pantry for years now. If the seal pops, it's gone bad. It the seal never pops, just heat them to a boil for 10 minutes when you go to prepare your meal and that will kill anything growing in it (if there even was anything growing in it). Tomatoes are very acidic so they are one of the least likely canned foods to go bad.

      @@thissideofthefirmament thanks . Did you just fry the tomatoes in oil and some salt for a while and can them ? Or did you add anything else ?
      Also I do not have the 2 piece cans, just normal jam cans , are they okay to use ?

      I put the tomatoes in the jars completely raw with just a little salt if I remember correctly. Then water bath canned them. And yes those jam jars will work great, go to my channel and find my playlists. Find the playlist called canning and look for my video on how to reuse jars. I talk about how to use the jam jars for canning.

      thanks so much. can any vegetable/ fruit be water bath canned?@@thissideofthefirmament

      Technically no. You can google search high acid and low acid foods to see what is very easy and safe to water bath can and what is better to do in a water bath canner. If you live in a country where you have no access to buying a pressure canner than you can look into a technique called "Rebel Canning" which is a group of canners who do things outside of the american canning suggestions. Oftentimes if you have a low acid food they will suggest water bath canning it nonstop at a full rolling boil for 3 hours. If you're on facebook there is a group called Canning Rebels and you can find a lot of information there.@@I.c.k.c
