….w0w….same over here…with my Sig Legion RXP, ejected brass ejected out and shattered the glass on the RMR and between the slide and the frame there is a very feelable play and wiggle wiggle movement about 1/32 to 1/64 of an inch worth…not happy with dropping $1,200+ on this pistol…it is going back to it’s mamma…yep.
I had the same issue with my P320 that came pre-installed with the Romeo as well. I ended up taking the back sight off and drilling a whole through the top of it and threading a set screw into it. Honestly, it's something that they should have done with all of them. Personally I'm really happy I did it.
I actually had the same issue with mine. I fixed it myself by trimming a piece of feeler gauge to snug it up. I'm guessing we got a bad batch of rear sights, but I haven't had any problems since the fix.
I've had 2 sig firearms ,P320 compact and there was a recall on the trigger assembly, $1600 Sig MCX rifle 223 cal. And there was a recall on the bolt assembly, I there firearms are over priced and differently quality control is slipping!!,there are other better quality firearms for half the price, you just have to be willing to invest some time, good luck
The same thing happened on my first trip to the range with my brand-new P226 Legion RXP. The slide is back at Sig now -- they said they'd replace the slide if the dovetail was cut too big, or the sight if the problem is with it. I guess this is something that is not that uncommon. Did they have to replace the slide on yours, or only the rear sight?
@@x.adam1 I got my slide back from Sig in ten days, with Thanksgiving intervening. The work order that came back with it says "adjusted dove tail and reinstalled sight." I can only assume that means that the gunsmith slightly dimpled the horizontal surface of the dovetail with a hammer and punch to create the necessary interference to keep the sight in place. I'm disappointed that they didn't replace the slide like the customer service rep said they would. But I've shot at least another 500 rounds through the pistol since then, and so far the sight is staying put, and the sights' zero was not affected by whatever the gunsmith did.
Old school remedy. Use a pin punch and punch the bottom of the dovetail (on the slide part) several times. That would make the rear sight fit tighter on the dovetail. Smother with Hi-temp Red Loctite. That should do it.
Dramatic. I have a few German 226s and several New Hampshire p series sigs. I abuse my New Hampshire sigs pretty hard and I have fired 10s of thousands of rounds through them. Never had even one issue.

Limbsaver makes a wrap sleeve rubber grip for that,I use it on my 226 with e2 grips and it is perfect.

thats minor... try dealing with accidental fires with p320
I said in my head "but who really moves the sights" like 2 seconds before you did. Sucks man
Crazy. Hopefully it doesn't take too long for Sig to rectify.
I'm hoping that as well. Plus, it would be nice if they pay the shipping because I literally had it a day.
Thanks,to gift mi see information about this video and about news info to mi understand doing pistol.thanks.
Too bad it is an anemic 9 mm rather then a real serious 357 Sig.

It looks like they just changed out the rear sight. I got it back in a week. No issues since then. I got great service from Sig on this one.

I've had sig new Hampshire firearms. Won't do it anymore. Strictly has to have the words Germany somewhere on the frame for me.

The slide will fit on any 226?
Yes, it’ll fit a standard P226 slide.
Why is this so low resolution?
Damn
Sig
That was missed in QC
It did suck but I'll admit that they were quick to fix it and have it back in my hands. 1 week today is a great turn around time.
Well?
Put a little epoxy on it
And call it a day
That wouldn't make it very removable or adjustable.
You should have gotten a FN 509 best 9mm on the market...….#LIVE2A
I bought FN 509 tactical 9mm FDE it is such a awesome pistol ,reliable comfortable to shoot and fully Ambidextrous and optic ready
I love FN but the 509 at my local gun store had the worst gritty trigger I’ve ever felt. Ended up buying the .45 tactical, great trigger
@@williamsaldanah3554 It smooth's out after about 500 rounds
wtf?
