Bro, how is the payment processed? When signing up for AWS, they ask for card details. How is the payment for a new instance handled?

They don't charge immediately. You need to use free tier ec2 instances. In case, if something is charged you can raise to support for refund.
Check details in billing section. And search for aws cost estimator on Google for cost projection

You need to make changes in your security setting. Allow your ip. If you have done it earlier then check it again your pc ip might have got changed

You have to allow inbound connection to your aws instance. Go to network setting of your ec2 instance and allow port 22 and your macos ip.
