agree 100%, cod has never improved after mw2/mw3. Hit-reg quality (essential for smooth quick-scoping) in these two games, was on point, and can only be matched by halo level of quality imo. Even battlefield never matched this level of smooth control over what the game is doing (saying this despite bf3/bf4 remaining my fav fps).. MW2 played like silky smooth butter, very satisfying to play and even this video brings back that feeling of confidence in robust game mechanics and reliable hit-reg. Idk wtf is wrong with game devs when seeing some subsequent fps games coming out over ALL these years.. ffs! madness.

That mission, no Russian, was one of the most memorable moments in the cod universe imo, same with sniping Makarov in cod 4 at the beginning of the mission after "All Ghillied Up"...

Quick scoping on rust, shotgun jumping on quarry, elevator glitches on Karachi… that was 15 years ago. As I type this, I feel the weight of the time gone by. Not sad that it’s gone, but glad I was there.
