this one really has a great atmosphere to it !! give it some time and attention and it will drag you into the mire, where you can find the final and blissful experience of beeing free...
Very well constructed album. Time changes, Guitars, Drummer from out of this world, every track has it's own enigma. Like you're eavesdropping on a forest's conversation during a midnight stroll. Excellent album through and through!

Hätt man mir erzählt das wär eins der unbeachteten highlights der späten 90er gewesen, hätt ich das sofort geglaubt. Fühlt sich sehr klassisch an, mag ich sehr 👍🤘
Stimmt. Das könnte auch von 97 oder 98 sein. Geile Mucke, die perfekt zum düsteren Herbstwetter passt. 🤟🤘🏽🤟🤘🏽🤟🤘🏽🤟
Kommt gut hin für die Zeit. Von den Riffs her. Aber ich misse immer noch eine Band, die an Nagelfar der späten 90er ran kommen kann. Denn Nagelfar war Black Metal - nur mit dem Unterschied, dass man in Janders Vocals die Emotionen richtig spühren und erleben konnte und das ganze Konzept der jener Alben auch cleane Parts synchron zum Screamen erlaubten. Das gibt dem Black Metal mehr Tiefe ohne dabei den Geist des Black Metals zu verlassen. Das misse ich bei vielen BM Band von heute sehr. Aber wie gesagt, Drengskapur kommt da schon etwas ran. Es ist sehr abwechslungsreich und stimmungsvoll von den Riffs und vom Konzept her. Sowas sieht man leider viel zu selten. Drengskapur hat also echt Potential. Es ist definitiv exzellenter Black Metal!
Während ich es höre, fällt mir sogar auf, dass Drengskapur auch Screams mit cleanem Gesang einmal ganz kurz kombiniert hat,.. die drauf folgenden Drums erinnerten teils doch ein wenig an Nagelfar. Höre ab 52:20 und ab 53:07
Insgesamt ist es ein geiles Album, aber nichts, was ich pausenlos hören könnte, weil es eben das gewisse Etwas an fühlbarer Emotion und Tiefe fehlt. Nur Jander mit Nagelfar hat das je erreicht. Danach kommt u.A. Todtgelichter mit dem Album Neon und dem Titel Moloch ran.
Einfach nur herrlich, das neue Album! Ich hab alles von Drengskapur rauf- und runtergehört und dieses Werk gefällt mir definitiv am besten! Abwechslung und Spielfreude pur! Genau das Richtige für den Ausklang eines stimmungsvollen Herbsttages...

Das Album ist - wie alle anderen Alben auch - der Hammer und wurde von mir direkt nach Release gekauft. Ich freue mich sehr, Drengskapur auf dem BMOA vor vielen Jahren "gefunden" zu haben, auch das 2. Projekt, Rimruna, ist sehr zu empfehlen. Unterstützt die Jungs! Die haben auch tollen Merch, Schallplatten und und und.
2013? Genau da habe ich sie auch entdeckt. Man saß da und vergaß einfach die Zeit drumrum. Von mir aus hätten sie die nächsten zwei Bands canceln können und die beiden einfach weiter machen lassen.
@@drstihl2007 Ja, ich glaube schon, Drengskapur war als Ersatz für eine andere Gruppe da und stand nicht auf der rennenden Ordnung drauf. Ja, man saß einfach da, mit einem kühlen Bier in der Hand und hat sich die Ohren wegballern lassen, es war einer dieser perfekten Sommertage.

Un ejemplo para los grupos de Black pagan que no dejan de meter metal y solos en sus composiciones.
Apoyo total a esta idea de pagan Black metal de la escuela germana.
Es posible que Gravedad haya influenciado a este grupo como a muchos otros, pero Drengskapur an apostado por una idea de Black pagan pura, con ausencia total de metal. Y eso no es muy común hoy en día.
Solo así se mantiene la atmósfera de oscuridad y melancolía que la naturaleza quiere expresar, por medio de Drengskapur.

You know, I've heard that Dawn had long ago already recorded a 4th studio album titled "The Four Fold Furnace" However, some stupid legal rights/label dispute technicality has held up the release of the album for several years now!!! Fucking lame! I love Dawn! I love extremely melodic, blackened, death/thrash metal from Scandinavia as a whole!!! Especially, the early 1st & 2nd waves of material from the early 90's to the turn of the millennium....Octinomos is a side-project of a Dawn member...The album, 'welcome to my planet' is my fave! Their is also Niden Division-187 which is another side project as well.....Just a heads up!

So scheiße es seit 2020 dank corona allgemein ist so steil geht es dafür im metal seitdem zu. Was die letzten Jahre raus gehauen wird und noch weiter wird ist der absolute Wahnsinn. Nicht nur im Black Metal auch im Deathcore kommt gerade einiges was schlicht und ergreifend magisch ist. Vorallem der blackened Deathcore erlebt gerade einen boom und das ist auch gut so weil einfach ne richtig geile Entwicklung. Mental Cruelty, Lorna Shore und shadow of intent dürfte vielen Black Metal Fans ebenfalls gefallen. Mir geht es definitiv so und ich bin überwiegend im bm unterwegs. Das Album hier ist auch richtig großes Kino 🤘 scheiß was auf lockdown 😂 mit so geiler Musik sitz ich gerne zuhause vor den Boxen 😊
