there is a vast ocean of the invaluable gems & one gets paranoid what 2 select & what not 2 just like a mother 2 b asked which of her children is most dear 2 her. but ur song selection,choice is highly appreciable. reg shanker jkishen the duo were highly talented with vast knolege & gr8 conniesseur in the music world. let their souls rest in eternal peace. the orchestra, the singers r highly talented & my best compliments 4 all of them. wish 2 c the tribute 2 o p nayyar. xlnt upload, njoyed.

One can not but be mesmerised by haunting music of SJK.All singers sang with passion but I will be bold to single out Ulhass/Sharadha(Yey raat bhegi )Prashanti Jain (woh chand Khila) .You are laying foundations for future singers to take over from greats of yester years.What is more enchanting and praiseworthy is fairly basic setting of musicians but tremendous perfomance.
Wish I could give you some award but my deep-felt gratitude for the tributes in the voices of common persons, is the only thing I can do. Really, that was the music and as I learnt from the tributes to Late C. Ramchandraji, melody used to be the soul of music. God bless all those associated with this great effort!
Wonderful! It is just a small glimpse of the vast spectrum S-j's compositions covered. But this is what was possible in a short program. What a phenomenal entertainment was provided to millions of people all over the world by the great composers, S-J. An unbelievable achievement and success. It does not seem possible for ordinary human beings to achieve such a level without divine support. (cont.)

well Kamlendra ji you have selected the best from the programme and made this an excellent presentation of the best of Shankar Jaikishan... its a treat to the listeners... all singers as well as chorus and orchestra performed so well... honestly it is very difficult to listen such a long clip at a time ... it would be advisable to upload it in parts to enjoy one by one all of them at different time....

(cont.) It is sad that Jaikishan died when he was only 41 years old. Considering the huge number of films and songs they did, the success of the duo is quite out of proportion to what one can normally expect over the limited span of time for which the two partners remained associated. One may be astonished to recollect even the names of their early productions, alone. To mention a few, Barsaat, Awaara, Badal, Poonam, Nagina, Aurat, Parbat, Kaali Ghataa, Aah, Patita, Shikast, Badshah, (cont.)
High tone singers to require more Riyaz. However well sung all singers.
