Recorded at American Car Show, Norrtälje, Sweden, July 17, 2004. Boppin´ Steve was rockin' all day and all night. Great guy!

Finally, someone got the tempo and rhythm correct on this number. So many play it too fast or slur the rhythm. You have to put the right amount of bounce into it. You nailed it.

It is lovely to see young men like this playing the greatest popular music ever invented. I love the classics, Big bands, Gilbert and Sullivan, but when it comes to Rock ,n, Roll, I was there at its inception, [born in 1942], there has never been anything to equal it.
1942 here too. Never ever will be anything to equal it!! Thank god I was born when I was. I have heard 60 yrs of the best music in the world, never tire of it either. Tom, remember Poodle Skirts. My gal wore a red& white striped, pleated,Poodle Skirt. when I spun her on the floor at our sock hops, that skirt would fly up and show off the cutest butt, and the best Damn legs in the state of Nevada!! Was a great time to be alive. still have the gal, and she still has the Poodle Skirt!!

I love it. Does not make it worse that one of my close relatives play here. And totally according to his own thinking that "less is more". He truly plays what fits into the music. He can be the devil on his instrument, but never ever shows off, as far as I have heard. He listens and play what is needed. Nothing more, nothing less.

I remember the first time I saw Jerry Lee ! I was about 9years old. He was on the Steve Allen variety show. When he started the piano solo he kicked the stool off stage and went crazy !! Screw El is! I was never the same!

You need your ears cleaned. I guarantee if you asked 100 people if he does a good job at singing and playing like Jerry Lee they would say yes he does.
@DH I agree. That band plays good notes, music etc. But, and there is a Big BUT -You can find on yt Jerry Lee Lewis playing in 2016 at the age of 82 or 76 ( not sure ) with still big spirit and that spark in his eyes, and here, well guys did the job, played role and went home. Maybe after playing all day they gone tired or ... They do it for too many years but especially guitar player almost fell asleep...

I am a musician and sound technician and recording engineer. I know music of all types. Jazz, big band, classical,swing, country , blues, rock, and country. So what you say is nonsense.
