I think Garfield needed this film more than the other Spider-Men. While Tobey's time was cut short, his time as the character at least at a fair ending that worked. Holland's depiction is well spread out within the MCU and will have ample appearances. But Garfield's spider-man was always the one that was cut short too abrupty. While the second ASM wasn't my favorite, Garfield deserved the chance to see his portrayal through more. His time is often looked down on while truthfully it is very under-appreciated, and this film gave the chance to reaffirm his place in having played Peter Parker.

And to think that the actors had saved this movie because all of the old villains would only make a came in the post credits scene but they refused and only accepted to play the role after the writters agreed to give them a major role. it actually does, all the spidermen have spider-sense or peter tingle, that's why they can detect eachother, danger and also if someone/another Spidey needs help.
Basically when all the villains arrived in the mcu, tobey and andrew arrived there too but in a different location and saw the news that Tom's Peter's identity was revealed so they sensed that he was in big trouble and were looking for him
