Aardman Animation has a special place in my heart for being so unapologetically British. And they alongside a bunch of other animation studios from across the globe are getting the fantastic opportunity to make their own Star Wars spinoff short for the anthology series Star Wars Vision! As it's getting a season 2! This series I feel is Star Wars at some of their best, and I cannot wait to see all the new directions we will see expanding different corners of the Star Wars universe thanks to the unique influences and experiences that will shape this global output of a new Star Wars production. Aardman and _Star Wars_ is a combination I never knew I needed, but I could not be more excited that it's happening. I'm definitely checking this show out now.

Aardman because they were a big part of my childhood.
Cartoon Saloon because they made the masterpiece that was Wolfwalkers.

Yeah volume one of visions was strictly anime based which while was nice, this season is actually going all over the world with different animation studios thankfully, can’t wait for the one done by the studio who made legends of Korra (love it or hate the animation was pretty nice)

I wonder if Laika Studios were approached at all, especially as they've done more adaptations than Aardman what with Coraline and the Boxtrolls originally being books.

Been an avid fan of Aardman since a Grand Day Out, not only did they tarnish my humors to the British side, but they made me fall in love with stop motion animation since! I'm excited to see their brand of British humor warp the lighter side of Star Wars for a great old time!
Not to take away from Visions, but have you watched The Bad Batch and Andor? From what you've said here I think you might really enjoy these shows.

I’m working as an animator for aardman at the moment. (Not any of the big productions though.) And I for one can’t wait to see what they do with Starwars!
It looks like each season is gonna have an overall theme reguarding the animation, season 1 was anime, season 2 is animation from around the world, hopefully season 3 is animation throughout the ages.

Dazz this is like day 208 of asking, but please can you do a review of The Emperor's new groove? Unlike other disney cartoons it's famous for its sense of humour that other cartoons don't have, and basically no one remembers this movie. Reviewing this movie would make me so happy! Thank you♥🫶
If you like Star wars without jedi or Sith I recommend Andor. (Andor also has a ton of British Representation and even space blackpool)
Also Visions can do what they want since none of it are Cannon
Majority of the TV shows are way better than the movies. I don't really care for the movies but shows like Clone Wars I really love.

i’m a big, BIG aardman fan, them being one of my, if not favorite, animation studios. something i’ve noticed about them that’s kind of sad is that they can NEVER stand on their own. from dreamworks, to sony, to studio canal, lionsgate, to netflix and now disney+ and lucasfilm. they always seem to dependent on bigger studios and seek guidance from them, which is kind of a shame because i think with their talent when it comes to animation and writing and their stories, they have the potential to take the helm and lead their own project. that’s not to say that their previous movies made with the help of a company are not good by any means (i consider movies like arthur christmas and wallace and gromit the curse of the were-rabbit to be some of my all-time favorites) but alas, i am still very excited to see their next projects like chicken run 2 and now this! i’ll always be there to support them

I've watched the Aardman short at Celebration 2023 London, and it's such a great time and comedic, smaller take on the Star Wars universe.
If you want Star Wars that's closer to the ground and much more thought provoking, look no further than the Andor series! It's some of the best Star Wars since Empire Strikes Back! It truly shows the rebellion against the empire in a more serious and deep way which adds a lot of weight to Star Wars as a whole!
Um excuse me the hut in the visions short (tatooine rhapsody is its name) is NOT jabba’s son, he was just a business employee and while you may not be big fans of the mainline trilogy it doesn’t mean they’re necessarily all that bad.

I'm definitely excited for Star Wars: Visions Volume 2. As for the animation studios that I'm excited to see for this season, I'm looking forward to seeing Aardman's short, Cartoon Saloon's short since I love their movies, El Guiri's short, and 88 Pictures's short. It's clear that volume 2 will be 10 times better than volume 1.

My expectations for anything related to Star Wars is so low, that I don't think it'd be possible for this to disappoint me.
Since there might be a season 3, it's only a matter of time before Pixar or DreamWorks does an episode.
As someone who isn't a huge anime fan, Season 2 of Star Wars Visions is far more intriguing to me than Season 1 could ever be. I think this second season will attract a lot of attention from people who didn't watch Season 1.
I liked the first Visions short, but quit after they started to feel dull. Seeing the lineup for season 2 has me excited!
