@Rotax701 All the wiring is internal through the bars except for the "Blinkers" & yes there is a hole at the bottom of the bars for them to exit. It was fairly difficult for me to do as I had not done this before. Took me around 4-5 hours!
@batou744 Yes I think they are called Diamond Black cables, I got them from HD dealers, you only need to replace the clutch & brake cables. The stock throttle cable is long enough to reach.
Everyone and their mother has the short shots... But you can't blame them, it sounds so good! I have some V&H slip ons. They are good for now until I find something I really love. Great looking bars too btw.
@sinvalley84 Hi, the bars are Roland Sands Vintage Apes 12", don't know of any part number. I had to get them shipped over from the US as I live in the UK. Just Google the name of the bars and it will come up with a list of suppliers, you should be able to get them in Canada! Good luck
hello i was readin ur info and i see you thinkin of doin a tank lift... so am i'm on my nightster and i was wondering as your in the UK aswell, if you could share the contact for the tank lift package, only one i can find is in the USA from Licks
The rear lights are LEDs..they combine all 3 light functions in 1...indicators which have to be orange by UK law, red stop lights & read tail lights for night time. They are a sealed unit so you can't change the lenses which is crap caus' I would like to have smoked lenses like I have on the front...
Whizz... dude please help me!! i got the bars but i don't know what size cables i need to extend them.. even the electrical ones... i don't know if to get the burly brand cable extension kit... or anybody that is reading this and have already done this bars to your bike please reply ...
Go on Ebay and search "TAIL LIGHT TINT SPRAY". It's about $20 and sprays like paint. You could mask off the housing and spray 2 coats on the lenses. I did my truck and bike that way.
Since making this vid I have done the tank lift, coil & ignition relocation...you don't need a tank lift kit, just make yourself a couple of brakets 2" long for each side of the tank...drill a couple of holes in each end & fit them. Just tuck all the wiring between the tank & the backbone of the frame...very easy to do!
Yep that was the same way I had to move my head to see out of them. They do look dope like that though. You planning on doing any other mods to your Nighty?
@tinsleytime I will when the tyre wears a bit, its too new to replace. I have since chopped the backend & added a springer seat, check my other vid of the bike. I need to do another update as I have relocated the speedo etc.
Hey Whizz, how tall are you? how's the reach to those bars, comfy to ride? i have a problem with the stock iron bars, killing my back! Btw, cool mod you got there!
@edjo68 I don't even know what Road6customs are? I guess you removed your comment as you thought better of your mistake. The bars are genuine RSD Vintage Apes.
@s5vrf As far as I recall wiring was all OK had to replace clutch & brake cable. Throttle was OK too, was a bitch to feed wires through the bars though
have to watch the tick-over is not to low or you will starve the engine of oil pressure ,sure might be sounding ok for a year or so but will kill the engine
I've got almost the same set up, How the hell do you see out of the mirror like that. I set mine up that way the other day and I couldn't see shit....The ones that make the wack comments only wish they had a bike that sick. PEACE!
Look? Sound? what is that shit all about? Do you people ever go on a weekend trip to the next state? If you want something to look at buy a TV. Sound, buy a Hi Fi.

@headfuker Not 48 mirrors, they are the standard Nightser mirrors turned upside down.

Yep that was the same way I had to move my head to see out of them. They do look dope like that though. You planning on doing any other mods to your Nighty?
