YES!! I am NOT a fan of "todays TOP country" . Midland brings back the 70s and 80s sound that I LOVE!!! I am in love with their music!!!!! This album makes me smile and gives me such a good feeling of my childhood!!!
Eagles and Merle Haggard being their influencers makes alot of sense. Two of my favorites. If Midland can make more albums like thier last, they'll gain more influence. There is a market for that sound.

If there is any money in the future that would be icing on the cake, but make sure you do it for the love. I have been writing all kind of songs for 25 years. I haven't got any of them cut by artist as of yet, but I still love writing. Just like any other songwriter, I hope one day that will all change. Until then, I will keep on writing. I love me some "Midland".
