Thank you Jennifer as always for sharing your snippets with us. I am a Bohin snob as well, they are so lovely to hold and I always credit them with lovely stitches😂. I just feel I stitch better. Having recently retired a colleague gifted me packets of every needle size and type in a presentation box from another company. Lovely gift but yet to be used. So glad you are enjoying your watercolour classes it is a lovely medium to work in.
Hi Jennifer, thanks so much for spending time in your garden stitching. I have just finished stitching a page using your new book as inspiration. I learnt so much, parts of my composition I wasn’t happy with and others were more acceptable.😊😊 I noticed while you were working with the hoop, that the fabric still had some slack (if that is the correct term). I have the fabric very tight and it makes it difficult to ’stitch’ and makes it necessary to stab stitch even when doing lazy daisy etc. When using a hoop how tight should the fabric be? I am definitely a beginner but I learn by watching and then doing, regardless of what it is that I am doing, stitching, cooking etc
Hi Helen, I do keep my hoop very taut when I am not on video. I stab stitch all my stitches. I think it’s personal - the tautness of the fabric in the hoop🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛
Thank you for the lovely video. I so enjoy your work. Your latest book is so inspiring. Can you tell me where to buy silk ribbon in the u.s. Have a great day.
I have no idea where to buy them in the states. I live in Australia and sell ribbon - with the exchange rate they should would out very well for you. I do send a lot to the US.
