You’re absolutely right! 🤣 It’s super tricky to make the incision without stabbing, so a dremel is absolutely the safer call. I had figured out how to avoid injury through my years of trial and error. Many fingers were nearly lost. Thank you for pointing that out🙏
Dude this was great! I'd love to see how you did the entire figure. Would a dremel with the saw blade attachment not be easier and safer than using a knife? Also quicker and easier to clean up
I think heating up the figure does make it more easier to cut through, rather than cutting it when it’s normal since the plastic is already hardened! (Just an idea you don’t have to do it)
I’ve heard it’s supposed to. With the hard plastic, I’ve always found that heating it will either melt the fig or just cause discoloration. I melted my Andrew Garfuncle trying to heat it 😭🤷♂️
@@kimbroughentertainment7726 ohhh nooo!!! Well it could May vary depending on the figure as some figures are mad better than others, but with ML/DC Multiverse I haven’t had any issues, and looking at those figures you had, a light 60 seconds will heat it up just enough for you to cut through it like butter!!
The price depends on the cost of the base figure and the amount of work that needs to be done. For instance, the Spectacular Spider-Man base fig is so rare that the custom costs $50 or more
I recently bought this spectacular spider man fig that has some basic articulation. Do you do commissions? I really want it to have some good articulation
This is very impressive
Never thougth i would find You here.
Me too
Y’all please don’t stab towards your fingers and just use a dremel or something similar. You will lose a finger.
😂 sounds like you’ve learned from experience, good advice

Or use a small drill bit
Could you do a tutorial on how you did this whole figure? I have that exact base figure and wanna turn it into yours
When you create a ball joint and glue it in there, 1) what material do you make the ball joint out of? 2) What kind of glue/adhesive?

I’ve done that before, the thing is that the dremel removes a lot of plastic which can lead to a seam. It can go either way!
I waiting for this
Can’t wait for more content👌🏾
Hey man! Came from insta, nice tutorial.
