Danny HITS it out of the park again. BRILLIANT performance. And KUDO's to the writers. This just keeps getting better and better, portraying the difficulties of coming out, and for once - in an unique SL.
Danny was nothing short of amazing in these scenes in the court room. This is one incredibly talented actor. If he doesn't win some awards for his performance in this soap, there is NO justice!
Gosh, what a powerful scene. It's no wonder these actors are so fantastic. I am so enthralled with these two actors. I should be sleeping now but I am so addicted to this
Chaz actually seems to be close to a breaking heart watching her son become a man. Also Jackson seems to look guilty when Aaron says he thought he was going to be outed by Jackson.
He makes the guys on One Life to Live and As the World Turns look like amateurs. He will be a huge star. He can sustain a scene better than anyone I've seen in several years.
All I can say is, what a brilliant actor Danny Miller is! This was truly emotional, heartbreaking and sad, and Danny just nailed it. I think we're watching one of the greatest future actors here in the making. But please Danny, stay on Emmerdale for a while, we need to know what is going to happen with the Aaron-storyline. I'm sure though that Danny has major stardom ahead - he's that good!!
Jackson was right to press charges. Aaron needed to learn that you cannot go around punching people for no good reason. Paddy and Chas needed to stop making excuses for his behaviour.
I knew Aaron's counsel looked so familiar!! The whole scene I was thinking I know him, I know him. Beautiful Thing. That's where he's from. He looks good. Still looks so young.
(Continues From Last Reply) Now why can't us Americans get this kind of superb soap acting this side of the Atlantic? I applaud the writers, directors and producers who concocted this beautiful tale and of course, Miller and his fellow cast mates for bringing it to life. They've officially got a new fan out of me and I couldn't be more thrilled to see where Aaron's journey takes me.
OMG. I'm not sure what else I can add that hasn't been said already of this performance. The part that got me was when he quivered and sucked in his breathe before telling the court he's gay (2:30). That moment is monumental for any gay person and Danny Miller captured that combination of fright, relief and desperation to nothing short of perfection. (Continued...)
@luisdiaz He also had a gay coming-out story as a character on the Bill. I wonder if they cast him in this role on purpose or if it's just coincidence.
@ketukalagni No you silly lad, I did not beat people up. I've never beaten anyone up in my life. I was just saying that like many young gay men I know it is difficult to come to terms with your sexuality. Some people can handle it - others cannot. A "one size fits all" approach does not work. We are all different. I'm very sorry but I don't think you understand my points. Personally, I think you are taking this television programme far too seriously - it is drama. Aaron does not exist.
@ketukalagni If you're talking of empathy, then yes I have empathy for the character of Aaron. Not because he carried out a homophobic attack (which he didn't) but because he is a young man struggling with his sexuality in a small rural community in Yorkshire. It is not just some simple act to come out as gay, it is a very difficult decision, one that takes time and courage to make. I know because I'm gay and went through similar experiences as a young man.
@Wannabe940 He wasn't allowed to be happy was he in The Bill?. He was daft to get married, but then his wife went and outed him in front of his whole team, so he had to request a transfer. When they get a realistic, non sterotypical character with depth (Luke, Aaron & Jackson) it's as if writers won't allow them to settle down. The only gay characters who stick around are the camp stereotypes like Coronation Street's Sean
@REH2369 WOW... I had all but convinced myself that I didnt really recognise him, but probably just thought he was a cute and it was wishful thinking LOL! Cant believe so many other YTers had the same experience haha Im still a Jackson fan, but you know, if anything should happen that Aaron and Jackson dont end up together... I say BRING ON SCOTT NEAL!

I knew that lawyer looked familiar! I had to think about it for a while though!
LIke the fact that director cuts back and forth between Jackson and Adam. The two men in Aaron's life.
man this courtroom drama is intense.
Great acting
I really enjoy watching him act.
hey jay. this touched me.. thanks!
Crying now.
@luisdiaz I was sure I know this guy.
Thanks for remember me who he is.
That's Scott Neal (Ste from "Beautiful Thing") as Aaron's counselor! Full circle.
wow! great acting from danny miller. glad aaron admitted the truth.
@luisdiaz He also had a gay coming-out story as a character on the Bill. I wonder if they cast him in this role on purpose or if it's just coincidence.
at least he has a reason to cry, when theresa from Passions cried every since the show was on and for no reason (sometimes)
@Wannabe940 who was in the film beautiful thing
Jeez, how many people from hollyoaks are in emmerdale too? xD
I am on your side mate

Bravo Danny...........now go thank your Director...
Scott Neal, how apt!

Scott Neal looks so handsome!!
@Sharkys69 He also played a gay lad in Beautiful thing, a film from 1996, he seems to play a lot of gay related roles.
I agree
@Wannabe940 He wasn't allowed to be happy was he in The Bill?. He was daft to get married, but then his wife went and outed him in front of his whole team, so he had to request a transfer.
