    Mario is 37 and had an Achilles injury. Arguably at like 30% of what he was in his prime and giving minimal effort but still won despite getting fouled every play. Crazy how good pro players are.

      Well instead of just playing 5 on 5 and 1 on 1 against random ppl for street cred and reputation. These dudes spend hours and hours doing drills of footwork, isolating shot, defense drills, running plays, finishing drills etc. and actually isolating the different skills and fundamentals of basketball. And have other high level players to actually compete against on a daily basis. So makes sense lol

      Bro have you heard Bryan scalimber Dont his full name but he barely play in the nba for 8 mins a game bench player. He schooled that boy he played with, he said NBA players against outside the nba are like MJ to them. Bryan is like MJ to people who are not in the NBA and he a bench player think about that man.

    Couple take aways from this 1v1:
    Mario Chalmers is still damn NICEEE!
    Hezi looked as bad as I’ve ever seen him, settled for long shots the whole game, whinny and delaying the game, sore loser, not good on limited dribbles, fouled Mario on every drive, flopping acting like he’s hurt, bad sportsmanship, arguing on the sidelines, just a bunch of antics with no substance.. glad he got humbled

    Mario Chalmers looks like the last member of D Block
    Story time: Played travel ball in Florida and ran into a few Miami Heat players at a Dennys in 2009. Obviously we all ran up to Wade and asked him for autographs. He said no without really acknowledging our presence. Not gonna lie, it demoralized us, but I'm an adult now so I can better understand he was probably tired of people pressuring/pestering him. Mario Chalmers, Chris Quinn and Udonis Haslem all stood up and gave us autographs. Mario Chalmers was a real solid guy and took the time to tell us some motivational stuff afterwards. Accept at this level it’s not worth it. Getting fouled doesn’t get you free throws and you’re opponent closer to getting kicked out. All it does is force a bad shot, and make you more tired. Chambers a NBA player so it’s embedded in him but the strategy is not good

    • @jnikz
      @jnikz ปีที่แล้ว +15

    hezi can definitely hoop, but what pisses me off is how dirty he plays. he will literally foul the shit out of his opponent and then argue that "it's not a foul", "this is street ball", "don't be soft" bullshit. this will then force the opponent to CHANGE how they play bc they're gonna get fouled EVERY TIME and forces them to shoot 3's...and if they're not hitting, it's over. i get that streetball is more physical, but he's definitely gone over the line imo.
    thank god chalmers was strong enough to hit some TOUGH and 1's and hit those long balls.
