Follow your heart. You’re doing what is right for you and your family. So proud of you and your journey. Sometimes the uncomfortable is the only way to comfortable. Change is good! Enjoy the blessings as they pour your way unapologetically. Your new home will be perfect, your time with your family is priceless, your Camino journey has more meaning than anyone can understand (so proud of you Rachelle), and to be able to get in tune with yourself. Have a safe trip, good luck on the sale of your home, and enjoy your time! Praying for you! ❤️🙏🏼
My friend, I truly believe our children need us more as they grow. Especially during the teenage years. I have always worked, to some degree full time or part time (mostly full time) for almost all of my mothering years. ENJOY IT! It does look different from "the other side". I wish you much love and I hope you make many happy memories. xoxoxoxo
Thank you so much, my friend. Sometimes it’s just nice to know you’re not alone and that our kids will always need us (hey, I still need my mom, if not for love and support and comfort!). Hope you and your family are doing well! ❤️❤️❤️
Hey, great to see you! Glad you’re doing well. Congratulations on starting a new chapter. I’m sure they’re going to be lots of opinions on this but let me tell you, as teenagers they need you more. They may not show it, or ask for it but they do. Even when they appear to hate you being around (they don’t). Having been through it, my son has said thank goodness you were able to give me the time, to do abc etc.... I’m at home for a different reason, chronic illness but it doesn’t matter what the reason is. If this doesn’t work for you, you can easily get another job, right? So go for it!!!! Enjoy your time away, it will do all of you the world of good. 👏🏻👍🤗
Thank you! The hardest part is that they can be so mean about everything!! But I know I’m doing the best thing for all of us and that they’ll see in time what it means to have parents who care and who want to be there. ❤️❤️
WOW! You quit your job! WOW! :) Lots of changes and they will turn out good. I know what it's like to have a boy and need more room. Ouch! When your kiddo is friends with the whole football team and they are the size of a house and can eat you out of house and home. And he didn't even play football. Our house was too small to hold them all and for some reason it was our house they like to hang. :D We built a large house and made things much better. Now he's 45 and we use all that room for the two grands and all the stuff they have. haha. Can Not! wait to read your updates and see the pictures you post from your trip. Prayers for a safe journey! Enjoy your time.
Thank you so much for your support. This is huge for us and I know it will be challenging but the best thing, in the end. Very excited for my journey and am so happy to have you follow along. ❤️❤️❤️
Wow! You are so very brave girl, I just wanted to tell you that. I have been at my job for 16yrs and I have that same feeling that something has to change for me my sanity and my family, cas if I'm not happy with my situation nobody will be. You knew that and did something about it 👏 You rock! I'm also so very excited to follow you on your Camino journey. I know it will be beautiful to watch and what it will be for you I will never know but I hope it finds you exactly what you are looking for and fills your ♥ Good luck xo
Change can be scary and daunting, but I’m up for the challenge. I appreciate your support and am very excited about the journey (figuratively and literally!) ahead. ❤️❤️

Are you going to be more involved with your religion like a reverend or something? I never heard of a pilgrimage!
Ashlynn_ Lol, no nothing like that. Just want to take some time to reconnect without distractions. 😊
First world problems

Quitting a job is life-changing. You keyboard warriors need to get over yourselves.
