- Did the tyre change affect the average?
- Is the front grill wrapped in ppf? i got a regular 3M wrap but its coming off, might consider hydro dip.
- Do you recommend diesel wash for the tar stains etc?
-No it didn’t
-Hydrodip is better but expensive
-Diesel wash is best for removing tar stains

195/55 r16 is a safe upgrade and everything will be positive and mileage drop should be negligible.. I will do this soon in my 5th gen City

165mm ground clearance stock but now its close to 170mm. It’s performing really well to be honest. I am planning to post a video where there are extremely broken roads (pebble roads)
Just finished 1500 km drive on my honda city (CVT)Bangalore -Madurai-Rameshwaram-Bangalore .
-Pick up is really great and VTEC kicks in at 4k which is absolute fun.
-At Mid range after 80-90kmph car struggle to pick up power dlivery is flat.
-i used paddle shifters so i can juice out this engine.
-Rubber band effect its hardly get noticed may 1-2 second nothing more than that ,this is not an issue for me.
-City or highway peroformace is smooth and great.
-comfort is great , having driven 1500 km did not tire much ,we were sooper happy about that Thanks to great suspension.
Honda has one of da best CVTs out dere ... not like other CVTs
what about the cabin noise?
@@kalyanikavuri yes it's there is a cabin noise which is okay for this price point,it could have been reduced,but it's not a major concern for me

Bro i own Polo 1.2 MPi and never in my life since 2011 i got a single issue from it, no parts changes and only timely service done, i have done 88k km on it and engine is real gem for a MPI, after 2500 rpm it just goes and goes up till 5500 rpm
On Paper its 75hp but i have dragged with Baleno petrol (which 88hp) and it lost to my car real bad
Point is, VW cars aren't bad to maintainance atleast not in my experience. Also cabin real silent 😊
BRO KINDLY tell more about tinted glasses that u have done its cost what are they like filming, spraying or completely glass change? Honda and many brands except Toyota and Maruti provide transparent glasses which ruins the look and creates problems in sun.
Road noise ka kuch solution mila kya Arpit bhai. I am considering buying V Variant which comes with 15" rims so the tyre will have a thicker sidewall which might result in less road noise.
33 psi on all 4 really helps to bring the noise down a bit.
Better tyres and sound deadening the wheel arches might help
Can the alloys be also upgraded in this variant from R15 to R16 without any significant implication on the rest of the parts/ performance?
For the sake of cost cutting a lot of companies go with smaller wheels for lower variants. The buyer can upgrade them according to the size provided on higher variants without any issues as the suspension setup is same in all cases. One can even upgrade it a bit. Example- Brezza 2020 VXI comes with 205/60/r16 wheels whereas ZXI comes with 215/60/r16. The VXI guy can upgrade to 215/60/r16 without any issues. He (VXI or ZXI guy) can even go with 225/60/r16 as the deviation is less than 5%. Hope it helps

Yes sir. There are no suspension change from the last version so you should change it for hassle free driving.

Hello brother . That was nice video. It’s my dream car. I met a city owner and he said he doesn’t recommend . Reason - within 15 thousand km run drum changed . Quality issues . He said 4th gen was much better .
5th gen is best .. driven 26000+ kms from villages to mountains .. no issue
I am very positive with city 5th gen as the quality seems very assuring to me.

bro I also have Honda City facelift but the steering gets too hot cuz I Have to park in the sun any steering cover material recommendations for avoid heating of the steering wheel

Highway and city.
If budget is 18 lakh then go with 1.5L slavia/virtus. U will get exceptional power and mileage. Try to avoid 999 CC germans.
I faced problem in gear shifting specially switching in second nd third gear...did you face the same or not...??

Go for 16 inches- 195/55/r16. Install some good alloys with nice rubber. Yokohama Blue earth gt AE51 can be a good option imo.

But elevate will we 1st generation and many cars 1st lot is like some issue will be there as company will do R&D on customer ... Ground clearance not issue for mei ...but abhi floods bhi aate hai or elevate ka music system City se better hai ... wat will be you're suggestion... City or elevate.. running Bahut kaam hai city mein and highway pe twice in year long like 600 km one side .. Soch rha 16 Lac dalu usase acha choti Venue or Brezza 11 lac type lelu but hum log gadi 15 saal taak rakhte we don't sell ...So aap suggestion do
Sir Honda and Toyota ki 1st generation cars mey R&D sey related issues bohot kam hotey hain. Aap Elevate ki taraf aankh band karke jaa saktey ho. But elevate mey average bohot kam hai (8-9km/l) in city. Agar aap comfortable ho in figures sey toh zaroor elevate ki taraf jao. But agar mai aapki jagah hota toh venue ki taraf nazar daalta. City running ke liye venue kaafi better hai.

CVT in which term your are not recomanding this?
CVT has rubber band effect which is something that most people hate. CVT is good for city but here i talk about the enthusiasts POV. That’s why i recommend TC over CVT.

For 70% city driving, you should go with CVT as MT is a big headache in bumper to bumper traffic.

Nahi bhai essa nahi hai. Badi hai gaadi size mey iss liye chahe tyre noise ho ya wind noise sabh jyada hoga. Kyunki elevate mey saara setup city wala hai iss liye noise jyada lag raha hai.

Main point of GC he nahi bataya
Sedans mey ground clearance ki baat karney ka essa he hai jaisa baarish ke mausam mey bheeg janey ki baat karna. Sedans have low GC toh underbody to scrape hogi he.

There's another 1.5L turbocharged car, that's Verna. Honda needs to tune up this engine, add basic features. Else, their bread and butter will stop selling.
They might say goodbye very soon.

Why 195/55/R16 instedoff 195/60/R16 low profile tyre is the biggest problemfor Rim band in honda city
That’s a good question. 185/55/r16 to 195/55/r16 the diameter change is less than 3% whereas for 195/60/r16 it is more than 3%. Vehicle suspension usually takes a toll with bigger tires so it’s better to be safe than sorry. Stability is not that good with high sidewall tires while cornering.
