It increased the minimum sentence for first-degree murder from 6-years-to-life to 15. To put it simply, Utah sentencing guidelines are unbelievable & utterly ridiculous in my opinion. I hope Millerberg is kept there for a VERY long time.

I live in a county that doesn't have a lot of people and someone from my school just got put in jail for helping their parents kill an 80 year old lady using bleach. There's also rumors going around that last year the same kid tried to kill a girl in my school because she didn't want to date him, luckily he wasn't successful (if the rumors are true). The worst part is that the kid might not get a lot of jail time because he's 17. Pretty scary stuff ngl
