Thankyou Tom for another great flyfishin video! Loved it and wished I was there. Please tell me if you ever do the 3 or 2 loch style thing with a carrot , bibio hopper and nymph kind of thing at wendouree. Ig gave this style a go at little pine years ago when it was blowin a gale rain the whole thing but i rarely get to tassie and i had to make the best of it. I had some sucsess and i was thinkiing if i get to ballarat and ive paid my accomadation would this be a good way to go in spring/early summer if there is no obvious hatch? I wish i had a boat but i dont have te money . Still, I reckon lakes are a bit like bathtubs and the food will accumulate around the edges {windlanes excluded) so i dot feel helpless on foot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Excellent video Tom !, I just got back from the Shack and watching your video makes me want to go back up and get back on the water .
I heard you caught plenty of fish as well 😊
Stocked regularly some huge ones

It's hard to imagine the "lake" in 2007 when it was completely dry!
I believe they've rerouted more storm water to the lake i think?

Wendouree is the best suburb in the city of Ballarat!
Enjoyed watching this - the retrieve seems to be pretty quick for nymphing - are you speeding up because of the windy conditions?
Yep, the speed the boat was drifting at was very fast. But also they seemed aggressive so I could go aggressive too
Hey Tom how are you doing buddy
