Oh my you made my day. I have been following this Aussie farmer and the remarkable job he has done that could transform Kenya farming. I can not wait for the full episode. Hope you show us more from A-z to how he makes silage because this could transform the dairy industry in Kenya.If he can do this on black cotton soil in Athi river he can replicate this all over kenya that has black cotton soil. Large scale farming using technology is the way to go to ensure food security.

May be aussie farmer can branch into dairy or beef keeping. Start a fattening feed lot and since KMC is back in business he can sell to them. This would provide extra income for farm operations. and also could be a demonstration site for how to start a feedlot and best feeding practices. He can trial different kinds of feeds and see which is most optimum for fattening cattle since he grows all types of crops that are suitable for cattle feed. I recently saw he had an abundant crop of njahe dulcious and did not know what to do with it because it was growing like crazy. Can he crush the dulicious into powder form and use that as cattle feed?
That place is a walking distance from my home. Really unsuitable for Dairy as u have heard very little rainfall falls here. So unless he invests in watering huge tracts of land, he wont be able to break even
