Great Video! I had both but returned the Vosteed Raccoon after I was able to swing the blade open using a downward force. The Miguron Moyarl did not have this issue. I really like the overall design of both knives, except for the detent action of the Raccoon, a little light IMO. Not sure if it was a one off. The button lock was solid once deployed. Nice work, thanks!!
I honestly feel like vosteed has to pay a bit more attention to their button locks. I have seen that be an issue with some and not others. It really is a hit or miss. Plus the one that I had to return was all sorts of not right. But I was told it was an open item, so it could have been screwed up from the last person who owned it. The deten is on the lighter side but it still works fine. The miguron is a beast of a knife! Very easy to use and work. Thank you for the kind words.
If Miguron did a version of that knife in CF scales over titanium liners, with S90V, it could end up being one of my favorite users. Size and profile wise, it reminds me a lot of a middle ground between the Native and Native Chief. Miguron makes all their own stuff. They even offer OEM services.
I love it because it feels like a spyderco that's less ergonomic. But not in a bad way. I wasn't sure they made there own stuff. I know alot of companies are moving away from OEMs alot of times. I know vosteed doesn't use an OEM anymore.
@@johnathan.jerusik I completely understand the less ergonomic thing. A lot of Spyderco's may be amazing for some hands (Dodo, Yojumbo, Yojumbo...) but just don't work at all for my hands. A generic shape can definitely be the better choice.
I love this one. I really want to get the version with the cross bar lock. There's no issue with the knife coming undone, or unlocked. It's a solid knife!!

@CNYKnifeNut I love the native 5, and the PM2 but the Para 3 the way the ergos are placed don't fit my hand right. Maybe I have to retry one.
My pick is vosteed all day! I have 4 vosteed knives with no problems at all.
