- This tutorial deals with the reinforcement detailing of beams and columns of the model using the manual and auto detailing methods. This tutorial covers the following topics:

It would have been great if you've shown how to draw beam and column details from scratch and how to present them properly to a client nice video though
what would you suggest for detailing of columns and beams sir? I mean manual detailing or CSI detailing
first do it by etabs, export the required drawing and edit the information manually. As I have done in this video exported the beam framing plan and use as it is because there are no changes required. similarly for cross-section of columns calculate the number of bars manually and edit the data in Autocad. In short use both ways to to draw the Autocad drawings.
@@structguru2200 dear sir one request is to make a tutorial on cross check, manual design of same cross Cross as it is in etab.. because most of the juniors face this type of problem..so hope to consider it on coming tutorials
sir i used etab 17 & i saw almost all your videos upto tutorials 9 video there is no DETAINING option top bar but in this video DETAINING option present.. where to find this option i dont know.. help me and from where you find this detailing option which is not visible upto last video.. thank you...
You will only find detailing option in ETABS 16. The later versions do not include detailing option. You need to download CSI Detail software.
May i ask the "detailing function in ETABS V16" is same as the "CSI DETAIL V18" ?

The view can't be exported to autocad, what is the solution?
HELOO SIR.... THIS WAS VERY USEFUL VIDEO AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE ABOUT THE COST OF BUILDING AND THE LAST I MEAN IN PREVIOUS 2 HOURS TRAINING VIDEO YOU DIDN'T EXPLAIN REGARDING ECONOMICAL DESIGN. IF IT IS THEN ITS BUT IF NOT THEN HOW TO MAKE ECONOMICAL THAT DESIGN. PLEASE CLEAR THESE POINTS.THANKS
Thank you Saeed! For economical design you have to see the percentage of steel in concrete members. Ff it is more than 3%, then increase the cross-section of column. Because steel is the most expensive material in construction. So if you reduce the percentage of steel your structure will be economical.

sir, while exporting to autocad unable to complete export operation .. option is coming whats the problem ?
Restart the application and run the analysis again. I hope it may resolve your problem.
How to solve this problem .
"File name be taken from drawing titles . Existing file with the same name will be deleted erro fond in detailing unable to complete export"

Either use ETABS 2016 or install ETABS Detailing software for CSI website.
