yes, it is very possible. dont think, that just because someone is head of state they are there for their families. most of the time being head of state means giving up family life or in other words neglect the mother. so mother becomes father and mother in one plus taking care of 4 kids is not easy.

It's only a fool who does not change his or her mind but, If you listen to Naa Konadu carefully, she said Atta Mills told Rawlings that he won't be well enough to go for a second term. It was quiet obvious that the man was unwell. What made him decide to go for a second term ? Clearly his doctors didn't advice him to!
