I love it! I’ve been using it to create quizzes for books my son is reading, summaries, or discussion questions. I even use it for college for myself. Such as when they ask me to write a certain type of paper I’ll ask “how do I write an executive summary”.
We started the GR Election unit study this week an will continue into next week. My kids have enjoyed it and I think it has done an excellent job of explaining this election. I just printed the page where they can color the states red and blue on Tuesday night. They are excited to do that. I just ordered Animal Farm for my 9th grader to read.
@ that’s so weird my comment posted here on your channel!!! You are probably like “what is this girl talking about?!?” I was watching Ashley’s channel at Home Sweet Homeschool and she mentioned Animal Farm with the GR unit and I happened to be doing that unit as well. Not sure how this comment ended up here. I have your video saved to watch as well 🤣 but haven’t been able to watch yet. Anyway- here’s the explanation of why you got a random comment about something your video probably wasn’t even about 😂
@@faithfullyinfertile Haha I just figured you were really excited about your new unit study and wanted to share. I have admittedly shared about something random we are learning about bc I was loving it so much lol
My daughter taught me how to use Claude AI to generate Spanish questions. But this opens whole new ideas! I'm older so AI scared me at first since I'd only heard scary things but I asked it for Spanish games and was thrilled not to search link after link for ideas.
I use multiple curriculums too So I put in the content index all we use and I ask Can you create a plan where the topics correlate we learn them together And I get a list of pages so I can just teach the same topics at the same time from each curriculum So we learn it from different angles
Idk how to use AI but I bet my kids can especially as they know how to find resources better than me and they do come to me!!! I’m Creating a unit study at the moment and didn’t think of using AI to help!!! We discuss audiobooks!!! I have to vet my teenage daughter’s books by reading the back as the books are not in English often but the back is!!! If I’m not sure I check with a friend before I let her read it!!!

It's so helpful for both kids and parents!
Thank you Katie! I used ChatGPT but never considered using it to this level!
So glad this helped
