    A really solid "slam bam thank you ma'am" action movie. One best enjoyed with a big tub of popcorn and a beer. South Korea is now to genre Cinema what Hong Kong was back in the '80s and '90s.

    Please excuse a foreigner, but who is that Charlie that comes after Blimey? Surely it cannot be the same substance referenced in a song by the Prodigy

      Ha ha! Excellent comment.
      Blimey Charlie is a corruption of the old 1800s phrase 'cor blimey', which traditionally has been translated from the 1700s phrase 'God blind me', that used to be spoken as an oath. The context of adding Charlie is more 1900s and usually denotes surprise.
