Proraso used to be handcrafted, like most of things back in the days. Hopefully even if it's industrial processed now, it's one of the most affordable and popular pre shaves/soap/aftershave. Nice English shave Ken 😌👏 we used to not have too many artisan soap makers (well at least that I knew about) in the UK, but that's all changed recently, and they're all making great products. I love my P&B soap ☺️ The harbour lights were great !
Spitfire is a very nice performer, takes a lot of water and still retains its properties. Nice English shave, by the way. Have a good time with your mother!
very nice shave man and you would love my WW2 documentaries. i have over 200 dvd's including stuff about the Spitfire, The Hurricane along with the Typhoons. in terms of hollywood movies, i like U-571 which was about the U boats and enigma coding machine and my all time favorite was Valkyrie which was about the July 20th, 1944 bomb plot to kill Hitler. P&B Spitfire is great but I prefer their Albion soap. Teriffic scent and as slick as Spitfire. My dog is called Sherlock...so an idea there for your next companion
Pleased you enjoyed Spitfire Ken, it's a great soap (all the P&B soaps are). The slickness and cushioning make them some of the most protective soaps around and the post-shave feel is phenomenal.

Also, I know you like vintage razors especially butterfly razors and I was wondering if you had heard of the Rockwell Model T?
