I went with a 3/4 ballad approach in arranging this one. I came across Super Soul Bros' arrangement of the same song, and they went with a chill route. I wanted to expand that a bit more and take it a step further by incorporating a 6-piece horn ensemble and some bangin' rhythm section, haha.
You may have noticed we went with a traditional Japanese vibe on the intro part. I was inspired by listening to Genshin Impact's Inazuma OST and I wanted to try and incorporate that style into one of my arrangements. This turned out so good! Steven did a great job on the ocarina and the track won't be the same without him. Shoutouts to you, man!

Ruscel you’ve outdone yourself, this was such a treat to both watch and listen to. The intro was beautiful (love the crash course logo over the classic background), Eric’s trombone solo was 🔥, the whole arrangement grooved together extremely well, and the video editing was awesome - love the triforce shot and the music on screen at the end!

This is an absolutely amazing arrangement that you have created here. The use of the ocarina was great blended with the usual jazz instruments and the way you took creative freedoms with the saxophones when playing the main melody really sold it. The intro and the overlay at 3:42 really helped with visuals, it was amazing all around, keep it up.
Everything about this is perfect; the ocarina was such a nice edition! You have a crazy strong set of musicians here haha
