- In this video, i talked about service monitor and pod monitors, how can we use them to scape the metrics from the prometheus.
Kubernetes is an amazing toolkit for managing containers on a cluster of machines. Prometheus is an open-source monitoring system that enables us to easily collect and store our application metrics, so we can query and visualize them with the help of Grafana. This video will teach you how to setup a Prometheus server inside your Kubernetes cluster in order to monitor a running application.

I want to ask, are metrics scraped from podmonitor different from servicemonitor?
They are same, in case of pod monitor Prometheus directly scapes the metrics from pod, while in case of servicemonitor Prometheus will use the kubernetes service to scrape the metrics
