- long time no see lol. Long time no draw (sad)
a lot rougher than the usual/less rendered, but im really proud of the outcome still. I will be at anime nyc this weekend with this work as a print (and other stuff) if youre nearby do consider stopping by! i pulled an all nighter to finish this.. most of it was drawn between like 2-8 am so some of it is kind of just me struggling for my life, especially the eye. i really struggle with this face angle but i think it turned out ok.

Neuvillette is def my favorite from the Fontaine batch - he looks incredible in your style, I love the colors and the overall mood in your illustration!

Very lovely artwork! I read in the description that you used both Wacom and Huion tablets. If I may ask, which one is more stable? Like in terms of delay in input, which one has lesser? I'm currently debating if I want to get one tablet and I would like to have your opinion. Thank you and have a lovely and peaceful day!
Thank you! Hmm I'm not sure if I'm the best person to answer this question since I don't actually enjoy using screen tablets that much in general, so I prefer my wacom tablet just for that reason. (I think I only used the Huion a little bit for finishing touches on this piece because I couldn't find my other tablet.)
It has been a while but I don't remember feeling a particular difference in input delay. The drawing experience itself is pretty smooth, so personally I think it's up to whether you like screen tablets or non-screen tablets more. Stroke layer effect on photoshop, most programs should have something similar ("Fringe" on paint tool sai, "border effect" on CSP, 'Outline brush" with Procreate, you can search these up to find similar results)
