Great video. I started learning Spanish 2 weeks ago and I've started using just the text from of the free version of gpt4 and was wondering if speaking to it would be a good form of practice, and this video is pretty informative for taking feedback from it to get a better idea on what to ask and how to assess responses to help improve. I can't really speak yet so im just asking it basic grammar and such, but I think this feature will be very useful to make learning faster
Even at the beginner level, you can ask it to give you beginner phrases for basic things like "self-introduction" or "talking about your family" something like that. But I would focus a lot more on listening to authentic material first so you have a strong basis for speaking. In the beginning, I'd focus on listening probably 90 percent of the time and output (perhaps writing) 10 percent of the time. The listening and watching videos will build a basis for you to have good experiences with authentic conversation. I like following TH-camrs who make vlogs.

That's great! What type of prompts are you using?
