I think fire spin and flame charge will be my go-to moveset! Im a brawler at heart, plus i always loved playing petal dance venu, so im definitely excited for this~

The only way I'm getting this is probably through this or coins. I'm very disappointed with some of the decisions unite has made recently. I am really glad though that we got both evos for Charcadet
Yeah, the monetary choices were shameful. But looking on the brighter side, armaroudge, by being the first counterpart to an already playable pokemon coming to the game, has opened the door for lugia, koraidon, zamazenta and gallade as eventual future releases.
I like it, I would ask that they consider a minor rework. I think arm cannon should be a tap to charge tap to release. So you can use flame charge to reposition or disengage. I’ve noticed if caught off guard you are stuck in the shot animation and can’t effectively get out. So instead of having a fighting chance you are just in an insta death situation
They really released an all rounder-attacker, before a new supporter

Jake, I've been trying out Fire Spin and Psyshock and it also feels pretty viable.
Sort of like Ceruledge Phantom Force, you can use it when there's a bunch of enemies approaching and use this AoE stun on them so you can initiate the team fight instead with an upper hand.
It's surprisingly not that long range of a move as well so it feels almost fittingly part of this bulky area Brawler that deals a lot of damage close-up and can give chase with his projectile + stun.
I think I'm gonna buy it with coins!
Just got the returning player bonus because I took a little break from the game, my next addition to the roster will definitely be either Leafeon or Armarouge!
personally armarouge is easier to play so maybe you should get him
I feel like armor cannon has been exactly the ranged time of burst/aoe ive wanted for a while in unite and excited to try it out on Armorouge sometime 😎

He looks fun but I have SO many coins I'm going to wait. I really hate that you have to wait a week. I get it business wise, but as a player it really sucks.
Understand it business wise? This greedy AF company makes more than enough money already and you understand that they must milk the player base even more? Get a grip
Armarouge is hybrid of bunch other Attackers. Psyshock of Gardevoir, Armor Cannon like Chandelure's Flamethrower, Fire Spin resembles Venusaur's Petal Dance and Flame Charge is a basic dash move like Cinderace's. Its Unite Move pretty weak because it listed as hindrance move, like Gardevoir.
It's the hero we need

not been feeling spicy with range attackers recently, although this mega man might help with that move flexibility to go a little melee

The power on Armor Cannon is absolutely insane! Can’t wait to get some crazy steals and Ray last hits with it.
The Gem price is a lil absurd so I’ll be using coins, but more importantly, buy him if you really want him, money is still money and in a week he’s f2p

Armarouge is my number 2 pokemon from gen 9 (first place is the Quaxly line) and I'm super happy it's so fun to play with. Can't wait to try it on ranked!

Been playing Arma with the rental pass non stop. Pokemon is fun FUN
I can see them doing a slight buff to make the unite move go faster, or reduce the cooldown of it, and either one of those will be enough to push it into the perfect version
I am a lot more excited for this release than I thought I would be!

I think that this will be way better in a communicated team than solo, but it can still be a hard carry with how quickly it can damage.

Haven't gotten to play it but facing it quite a few times I can tell its definitely good.
Fire Spin does solid damage an can actually allow it to 1v1 some things while Armor Cannon is very safe and good damage.
Gotta agree this is one of the best releases in a long time.

Both movesets for armarouge is good when i tried it on practice, i agree that the unite move might need some work.
I was not excited for this Mon. But I wound up with enough gems to pick it up (from expiring Nintendo gold points) and actually had a lot of fun with it! Good release, can’t wait for psyduck!!!!
I typically wait for releases to decide if I’m gonna get it I just want the mons to be fun
I mean it's the state of balance that all Pokémon in unite need to make the game really fun and in the paraphrased words of Karen "to win with ones favourite Pokémon is true strength"
I looove Armorouge, my favourite pokemon from Gen 9 by far. I'm super happy it's in the game and has had a good release.Going to buy it with coins next week

in my opinion Armarouge is kinda similar to Sylveon which also has a sustain build, and both have probably the same basic attack range unless you play armor cannon Armarouge
I got it with gems day 1 and not disappointed because it's fun and has 2 very distinct playstyles

Honestly it’s kinda natural that they depend on monetization when a game is free of charge to begin with… BUT
The way we simply have to live with these shooting prices in times of financial instability is ridiculous…
Also, when did we stop hating that they leave this paywall on after they said they would listen to their fans
I used fire spin in the practice range and it maxed my defense at just over 520 defense.

I was looking forward to Armarouge and the moveset looks really fun, but I think I’m done with spending money on new releases and I’ll just wait for coins, especially now that I have everything I need in game and have like 75k left over.

Armarouge is basically an all-rounder with the fire spin flame build
I like how armour cannon is viable with both secondary moves. Rather than just 1 set of moves being exclusive to each other

Do not be fooled by the discount coupon. The discount coupons will eventually be phased out and all we'll be left with are the increased prices

Armorouge feels great, buff it's unite and maybe allow flame charge to stack and i think it would be perfect
its funny how Ceruledge released with underwhelming moves and an OP unite move, and Armorouge has the opposite problem. LOL

It’s not lower than other releases gem wise. It’s usually 525. 553 is higher.

Play it against a few of them now and I agree it's not busted
Fire spin+Flame charge feels A+ at least for me, Armor Cannon + Psyshock felt very mid to me, like B tier...Unite felt underwhelming lol So I guess A is a good placement overall

I'll say a little nerf to the cannon build is necessary specially in early game it's too powerful....and unite buff yes
Also I feel like there is way too much cc in unite now....I think then need to do something with it...maybe weaken all cc by 20% ...every match is voot tackle pika char double stun and more defending attacker stunners ....it's frustrating to play anything close range
Definitely need to get rid of all unnecessary CC from Attackers, All-Rounders and Speedsters.
The stun on Armor Cannon is overkill. Having it on Psyshock doesn't even seem needed either.
