the number of stars are only reflective of the p value set in the experimental plan, for example one might set ANY significant difference to be represented by a single star. This is common practice.

it is said that prism actually calculates tukey-kramer test which is suitable for unequal size. So, which multiple comparison I should use for equal sample size?
