      Finland has been slower than its neighbours to jump on the espresso-based coffee trends. Last time I visited, the usual two options were black (filled to the brim) and black "with space for milk". I stick to brewed coffee there.

    • @vGhost01
      @vGhost01 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Finland's love for coffee largely comes from quantity over quality. We will chug down 7 cups a day of mediocre coffee because that's what we've grown to tolerate.

    I flew this seat very recently, and while at first I was a little sceptical, I actually really enjoyed it. It is so spacious and the bed itself is great. On normal recline seats I personally never use the halfway-recline anyway so I didn't mind it at all. Some Finnish foods are definitely an acquired taste, but overall the experience has been incredible.) Sidenote, I myself am not really big, but someone in front of me really was, and he personally told me all the extra width in the seat really made it much more comfortable for him

    Very interesting, though I've always found the fishbone biz class seats rather restrictive for my legs/feet, not the length but the height and just moving/turning your legs/feet. I actually prefer those older types, though there is more privacy for work and stuff that I'll give the new angled seats. Still haven't tried first class seats yet, will have to try one day.

    Hey Ricky, you have some great videos and i like watching them! I have a question and i would love to see your point of view on that if you have time. i live in Romania and i was wondering why there are no direct flights from USA, China, Japan, Canada etc to Bucharest, considering is the 6th largest city in European Union and it has it's fair share of tourists.Its true that the numbers are not that high as in other countries but for example United flies in many European cities from diffrent US cities. Delta does the same and American as well, and not even one flight per week from any of those airlines from any US cities doesn't fly to Bucharest. What is your toughts on this matter? Do you thing that its not profitable or its some kind of a power play game between european airliners to trick people to fly in Amsterdam for example and than KLM to take them to Bucharest? Also there are many romanians who travel to USA and they have to go first to London, Frankfurth, Amsterdam etc. to take their flights to US.

    • @robertciuraru8221
      @robertciuraru8221 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man, I am actually a Romanian myself, who is born in the US, but I travel to Romania very often. There were direct flights from JFK to OTP in the early 2000’s and in the 90’s with Delta and Tarom. Tarom does not have any aircraft equipped to do transatlantic flights. Also, any US carrier, would not have sufficent demand. There are not many people frequenting Romania through pure vacation, except people coming home to visit.
      Also, I do believe there was a rumor indicating a direct flight from OTP-JFK, but I believe things did not fall into place. This was recent

    • @robertciuraru8221
      @robertciuraru8221 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe Tarom applied for slots at JFK and EWR, but they expired. They were going to lease 2- A330’s

    • @antaresvega2037
      @antaresvega2037 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@robertciuraru8221 Hey, thanks for the reply! Yes, Tarom had flights to New York,Chicago, Beijing, Bangkok, Delhi and even to Sydney via Calcutta, and all this in the 70's and 80's. However, i find it very strange the fact that back in those days were so many flights outside Europe especially from a comunist country who had some tough restrictions for its people in therms of traveling abroad but somehow today when Romania is in EU plus its economic status is way better than it was back in the 80's there are no flights outside Europe. I think there is someting sketchy in the middle. For example from Amsterdam there are maybe 2-3 flights per day to NY, do you think in all of those flights the seats are occupied by dutch people? Or from Frankfurt by germans? People from neighbour countries fly from there so i guess from Bucharest could fly also bulgarians,moldavians, albanians etc. But who knows, its also a lot of politics in the middle.

    Mmmm ... I'm a hair-splitter. If the English word "unique" means it's one of a kind, then how can some things be more one of a kind than others? It makes no sense.
    You say that this Finnair seat is "very unique" .... so you're saying that this seat is "very one of its kind"? Implying that other airlines' seats are not so one of its kind as this one. What on earth does that mean? Please explain.
    Otherwise, a great presentation. If it weren't for your judgement of the levels of one-of-a-kindness achieved to distract us, it's as good as it gets. Keep it up 👍🏻.

    you really need to master chewing without your mouth opening. it's off-putting. that said, ive done finnair new biz class - the trick is to extend the main seat's cushion from thr get go. i sat cross legged and with my feet up the whole way, an informal and intuitive position that was encouraged by the design. the end result was like sitting at home in a comfy sofa, which was truly unique and relaxing.
