I always felt sorry for Baxter. Lost in 2 BDO World finals, then just lost against Rod Harrington in I believe it was the Matchplay when he was a couple of legs in front and throwing for the match but lost it again, poor guy. Although I was supporting Ted in this final as his throw and talent amazed me. It's a shame he didn't go to the PDC whilst he was still young like in this video, as I believe he could have been a real force.

I remember as a 15 year old really wanting Ronnie to win but Ted ran away with it. There have been some amazing finals over the years. I really loved Tony David winning in 2002, Fordham, Flaasen, the amazing Phill Nixon come back in 07 from 6-0 to level it only to lose the last set (RIP), and Dave Chisnall nearly going all the way in 2010.

Everyone memes about this but the PDC wasn't a higher level than the BDO from day one - the BDO was still competitive right up until, probably, Barney's switch. 2005 was the first year the PDC champion even got paid more than the BDO. The main reason everybody says the PDC was better is because Phil Taylor was steamrolling everything in sight through the early years, which wasn't necessarily a good thing (look at some of the randos in the PDC championship in, say, 1998 for example). And let's not forget that with the exception of Gerwyn Price, every PDC champion started in BDO darts (although Adrian Lewis switched before attempting to qualify for the BDO Worlds).

Unfortunately he'll probably be out now he only got 2 years which is a disgrace, same with the peodophile tony Eccles he got 16 years and got let out after 8 years. Absolutely shocking no justice at all.
