Greetings from Australia. I bought a new 1150 in 1976, and loved it. The caps died, and I was lied to by a repairer who said it was shot, so I gave it away. Last year I bought another, and it's heaven again! I like the black finish, and as I recall, when I bought my 1150, the 1250 didn't exist. Yes, you are correct, it was rated at 75W/channel into 8ohms, but that was always accompanied by a "wink". I was once told that it was an extremely "healthy" 75W. In my opinion, one of the finest vintage integrated amps out there.

It is a very balanced sounding amplifier for sure. I would agree w/the 'healthy' 75WPC.

Very nice!
I have an 1120 powering a set of JBL L150's and was thinking about stepping up to an 1150 as those speakers are awesome but power hungry. Thoughts?
I don’t see a reason not to 😀
