the opening choir is done so insanely well, whoever thought of the motif originally is a genius, it really does feel ancient, evil, but divine all at the same time.
I like that it was a totally random fight that only happens because megumi is like "fuck you asshole, you are coming with me" against the biggest scrub.

I have been loop listening to this song. Matter of Fact, It's the ONLY song I have been listening to for the past 4 DAYS, and I loop it for HOURS STRAIGHT. This song is a masterpiece, keep up the good work.
This is definitely the more polished version. The original had the background drums playing too much. However in this one removing the drums at the right time while adding emotional moments during the choir by itself allowed the song to be more complete. 10/10.

Spoilers- Wasn’t Agito almost as strong as Mahoraga though? I feel like it’s the only one that could be compared to him. I can’t see any shikigami being stronger than Mahoraga though, and if something was I haven’t a clue of what its ability would be
mahogarah is the strongest shinigami for now all though, a surprise hollow purple from behind would end it, the surprise ont let it adapt in time@@AurenQ84
@@AurenQ84 Agito was a culmination of the other nine shadows. The only issue is that it can be killed the same way as Mahoraga and cannot adapt to an attack. The only shikigami stronger than them would be an ultimate ten-fusion of agito using mahoraga's adaptation ability.

I used Ableton Live for this, but really any DAW will work. The plugin for the vocals is Rhodope 2, which is the exact same plugin that Yoshimasa Terui used for the actual piece which is why it sounds so close. (Also the same library Kevin Penkin used for Tower of God, so it's a good library for anime music). I used Jaeger for the strings and I used Damage for the percussion with a little bit of percussion from Ethno World 6 for the quieter section.

Of note, Rhodope 2 is the exact same library used by Terui in this piece, so you will hear it in the original once it gets released.
