Looks like most people change the whole PCV valve ,hose etc .Mercedes sells the seal only seperate.Do you think its worth changing only thw seal instead of the whole aftermarket assembly. Whats inside that valve?
I replaced the Y pipe, PCV valve and the neck, air filters, fuel filter and now I have a check engine light P2013 and 2031. OM642 engine. Can’t find anyone online to have come across this issue
Hi just wondering if the maf sensors lasted after the cleaning. I have cleaned and reset but they come back. Waiting on a scanner to arrive before I can reset them though
OK cheers, seems to be pretty competent with learning etc. Tempted to get a Xentry but the tablets are far more convenient. I am using an Ancel X6 but it is limited with Benz goodies. @@europeanautomotiveexperts
Hi, thanks for the video, very helpful! I found out that this orange seal seen in 7:53 its broken. Would that be a reason that some oil got into air duct, just like in this video? Also in 3:22 there is this connector in the right bottom corner and its in, while I noticed that in my car it is covered in tape and unplugged, any idea what that would be and why? I got P0100 and P0113 errors. Thank you very much!
Hi, Thank you for the comment. Orange seal for just seal the breather hose. Normally oil from the worn seal in breather pipe as shown in 7:30 or turbocharger. Im no idea about that connector I will check and let you know. That’s two fault code for MAF sensor and air temperature sensor which is part of the MAF sensor. Could be faulty sensor, cover with oil or wiring issue. Try with clean the sensor 3:53 first, using MAF sensor cleaner. Thank you
@@europeanautomotiveexperts Hey, so I managed to install new pcv valve with hose and the issue persists, P0100 and P0113 popped up again after erasing. MAF sensor cleaned, everything back in place, i have checked after running engine and no oil the turbo now. No idea what it might be. Thanks
After replacing the PCV, does one have to use the software/such as Autel Ultra to reset? will the engine relearn by itself if I do not have a Autel Ultra like device to reset?
