CAPE D'AGUILAR MARINE RESERVE HIKE HK | How to get there, beautiful views, highlights

- Cape D'Aguilar is a cape in the south of Shek O. It is named after Major-General George Charles D'Aguilar. It's a pave path(narrow road) all the way to the coast and it will take more than an hour to get there. Before the coast, there is a cave down the road called THUNDER CAVE, and as you continue to the coast you'll see the WHALE SKELETON. There is another cave called CRAB CAVE and you can see the whole view of the coast when you climb up on top of the crab cave. Perfect weather to visit this place is winter as there is no shade. The heat of the sun goes through the rocks and while you're up there you feel like you are being toasted in the fire on summer time.
Just take bus 9 from exit A3 Shau Kei Wan MTR station(make sure to take the one "via" Cape D'Aguilar route so it will take you to the starting point of your walk, specially when hiking there for the first time.

I just want to clarify when you said 10mins from bus stop to Cape D aguilar. We went there Last Friday and it took us 1hr walk to reach the place... But its worth it!we had so much fun in the cave and rocks.

Cape d' Aguilar is such a lovely place, I appreciate the clarification too, I have to go back to my video and watch again to check haha coz I don't remember I said that, though, what I remember is..... " it's 10 mins.walk from QUARRY BUS STOP(when you get off at Quarry bus stop) to CAPE D'AGUILAR BUS STOP"....Coz you know you do not need to wait those buses to go via Cape D' Aguilar. We can actually take the regular route for BUS 9 but you have to get off at Quarry bus stop which is 10 mins. walk to Cape D' Aguilar bus stop...And from Cape D' Aguilar bus stop to the coast is yes! you are right, it's an hour walk....so yeah...it's the BUS STOP to BUS STOP is what I wrote and say there which is 10 minutes walk:-) anyway, stay safe and Godbless

Yes, exactly. it‘s super busy over there. we wanted to fly with the drone, but it was super windy. So we had to cancel those plans. How actually are you cutting your videos? All on your phone?
I'm just editing all on my phone:-), it takes so much time to edit haha but yeah, still works

So far wala nman sis, may MINIBUS din na nag aantay doon sa babaan ng BUS. Incase walang BUS, pwede maglakad kayo paalis doon, at punta kayo ng MAIN road doon sa tapat ng Quarry Bay bus stop po
Meron mas magandang way 2 hike cape d aguilar. Start from shek o beach and climb cape d aguilar up to the antenna station then go down to the main road kung saan kayo naglakad going down to the cape.
