- National Conference leader Omar Abdullah sworn in as the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister as the Union Territory got its first government after six years. Party MLA Surinder Singh Choudhary, who defeated J&K BJP chief Ravinder Raina from Nowshera in the Assembly polls, was appointed the Deputy Chief Minister, giving a representation of Jammu division in the new government.

It is big blunder of the Modi government to believe in separatist leadership of Kashmir valley & didn't make proper counting of J & K population but used only tampered report & missed golden opportunity + didn't make Jammu sapta state or Union taratary so his blunder is definitely going to backfire very soon.
