I went back and watched the movies since I found out they've been confirmed to be canon. Deku transferred OFA to Bakugo in Heroes Rising and they used OFA so much that Deku's embers completely rab out. OFA still just transferred itself back into Deku. Deku lost OFA because he put the quirks in Shigaraki's body for less time than it was in Bakugo and was used FAR less by Shigaraki than by Bakugo. Hell, Deku still even had embers left. There was NO reason to not have history repeat and have the quirk just jump ship into Deku's body again. I honestly wanted him to gain AFO because Yoichi (AFO's brother) said it could be the kindest quirk in the world. Hell, there was a scene with Deku and Shigaraki's fist connected for the final time and that would've been a perfect setup for that. All that setup was done just for Horikoshi to drop the ball completely. And the combination of OFA and AFO could've EASILY let him do something with the quirk singularity concept. He prepared the ingredients in advance and still cooked nothing. This ending was garbage. I don't know why people try saying that it's "overhated".

They're adults now so they still tried to hang out despite their busy lives as heroes I don't think homie Degen read any of that chapter to completion nor do I think he understood what Midoriya being the greatest hero actually meant
Things this comment got wrong. - Deku didn't become a hero, a kid was surprised he actually existed and he didn't get the suit until the very end of the chapter. - Midoriya and Ochako are pretty hardcore confirmed to not be a thing since they don't have any contact in the final chapter despite her being in contact with multiple of the other students. - His homies DID ditch him, he mentions barely having contact with them for 8 YEARS. Teacher's have weekends, holidays, and whole summers off and yet he had barely any contact for 8 years.

Quick rundown of everything Degen got wrong about MHA's ending:
- Midoriya became a teacher cause he wanted to teach the next gen but at the end, he's still a hero cause his homies got him a iron man type suit that's mad busted
- Midoriya and Ochako's relationship wasn't confirmed or denied
- He did miss being an active hero but was still happy to be a teacher
- His homies did not, I repeat, DID NOT ditch him for 8 years. They're adults now so they still tried to hang out despite their busy lives as heroes
I don't think homie Degen read any of that chapter to completion nor do I think he understood what Midoriya being the greatest hero actually meant
Things this comment got wrong.
- Deku didn't become a hero, a kid was surprised he actually existed and he didn't get the suit until the very end of the chapter.
- Midoriya and Ochako are pretty hardcore confirmed to not be a thing since they don't have any contact in the final chapter despite her being in contact with multiple of the other students.
- His homies DID ditch him, he mentions barely having contact with them for 8 YEARS. Teacher's have weekends, holidays, and whole summers off and yet he had barely any contact for 8 years.

- it's outright explained that Class A still keeps in contact with each other but they struggle to meet up as much as they want to but also they were working on the finances to support Hatsume and Melissa Shield in building the Iron Deku suit in secret so it could be a surprise.
