Started watching BatB cuz I was a fan of Kristen from Smallville but after seeing jay as the beast I fell for him - hard. He is great as Vincent. He plays the tender parts with Kristen so sweetly. Soulful eyes. I hope they get a second season!

Kristin is such a professional and talented actress. Maybe she fell for Jay for a little bit while filming thats why their chemistry was excellent on the show. But as a pro, I don't think they will let the personal emotion affect on the work. Well done Kris and Jay ❤️
if BATB gets cancelled after this season... i will be devistated. It deserves to be the highest rated & watched show on the CW. Sorry TVD but I think it's beating ya for my votes now ;) very close 1st and 2nd for me
He’s a real beast with that wonderful accent!!!! which I could listen to all week!!!! And in later interviews his accent seems to become more Americanized and that is SAD SAD SAD!!!!
Rats clearly a kiwi accent. If you can't tell the difference then maybe do some more research. Just because he works in Australia doesn't Mean anything.
I'd talk to him in full makeup. I actualy think the beast is absolutely adorable.. well season 1 beast anyway, now he kinda looks like the vampires from Buffy and Angel did back in the day.. Still cool, sexier I guess. But I really have a thing for that grotesque-ly endearing face we had in season 1.. but maybe that's just me.
OMG this man is supper yummy! I keep watching the show over and over just to see more of him! They seriously need to keep this show going! It's got the sexy guy the beautiful girl lots of romance, action and crime fighting so lots to love from this show!
It kind of sucks he has to sit in makeup for 5 hours when the actual beast parts in the show are soooo short....and we hardly see his face, even when he is the beast.

He's not trying to sound American or Aussie! His accent has changed cause he's been working in Aus for a while.

he's from NZ but he speaks with an Australian accent because he has done a lot of work in Australia

He actually spends a lot of time in Canada i believe and you will notice his accent lessens the older he gets.
