And obviously. Everyone loves best gear of the year videos. Major biggest video of the year. 30 min long of every piece of gear of the year is your favorite. Down to everything. Bags, laces, blades, grips, everything
Please elaborate on grip. Good grip means different things for different players. For me a good grip is a grip that allows some slip. So when Tommy talks about grip, it's not clear what he means. Does he mean crazy glue stickiness or what?
The Code Encrypt Pro goes from good grip to slight grip to no grip as you go down the shaft. IE, if you are taking faceoffs, you're bottom hand will probably be on the slight grip area. Good grip meaning it is comparable to other brands. Not as grippy as PSHS grip but far more than an LX Pro.
I really feel like they should take intermediate stick for him... they are cut so short that it completely change the feel of the stick. I have a rekker legend pro and if I look how short they cut these, the top flex point will sit in his top hand.. also the "grip" would go way lower on shorter "stock" stick so he could feel it properly! :P
Man, I got a code tmp 1 for this season just because it’s the only stick I found in an extra long length. I love it. It’s got my pr clapper currently. 85mph. Beautiful one tee. I hope it never breaks lol
You guys should do a review on Conway banks vs pacific rim backpacks for pond hockey/ stick and puck because idk which one I should grab they both look solid
So fun fact true has had really poor durability over the last 5+ years leading back to the 6.0 and xc9 line and nothing has improved. To date of the most returned brands for stick warranty. also i know its old but its a shame you didn't add the lx2 pro or the new Sherwood mid kick t120 pro. awesome vid as always.
No one can really get a geo, let alone get one in their specs these days so there's not much point in comparing the current Nexus to the one 2 generations back
Both Tracer and Novium 2 Pro have had a similar amount of ice hours. Feedback is provided after all sticks have had a similar amount of ice hours (real use and testing). This helps to work around different release dates as some sticks will always be newer or older than their competition. Hope this helps
My 17yo likes his Code Encrypt Pro more so than his FT5 Pro. Feels like he gets a harder shot off. The grip doesn't bother him. The only stick he never cared for the grip is his Alpha LX Pro. That's all I got. My 2 cents worth of feedback
Since they changed the shaft dimensions on the Tacks, I had to switch up. AND I AM SHOCKED!! Yesss on the Warrior Novium 🙌

Warriors qr6 pro and Novium 1&2 are by far the best sticks I’ve used to date

Intermediate would be a smaller shaft then
@@Chaserwilcox well he is small so maybe that would be better for him 😂

Thanks for finally bringin the novium to your vids love it 😍
Waited for this one! Thank you guys, makes my day better👍
KYC does make a mid kick stick? Even a high kick stick. Just have to custom order it

thanks for the great content!
Can you please review sticks from a defenseman perspective? Best sticks for DMan
After watching Pastrnak practice twice this weekend. And being 1 foot from him multiple times. I appreciate the mustache Tommy!
Is bauer hyperlite 2 same with blade? If it is to soft when you have use it in months?
Is it Novium 2 pro or Novium 2 you like? 😅
Should also do a comparison of customs to see how they compare
It would be nice if pro sticks weren’t $400
Where does the barrel stick rank in this? Have you tried pro blackout from hockeystickman or no name stick?
U can’t beat the feel of warrior Bauer or ccm. I have had a lot of no name it’s very well worth the extra money
@@kyg7977so no name brand doesn’t have the same feel? Is that what you mean? Which curve are you using
Hey could you guys do a review on the twig hockey company sticks I've seen them a bunch but there's no real reviews
Yes do every piece of equipment
I thought the XF pro had amazing pop on its shots though

“Tips are hard”
No one wants a soft tip
@ Who’s going to tell Bauer?
A better super novium 🤝
Do tracer vs geo
No one can really get a geo, let alone get one in their specs these days so there's not much point in comparing the current Nexus to the one 2 generations back
How would the Tracer do if it was a new stick?
The criticism is it went soft, but you're comparing it to all much newer sticks

I think that as vi pro is better then the xf pro
Guy is brutal
We project our insecurities onto others. His moustache looks great, doesn't deserve the diss.

Kyc does make a mid kick…just sayin
