Almost 4 years and I still can't believe it. I've also lost my older brother and it does get easier. Glad to see it's not only me that Paul's death has effected even 4 years later.

When you suddenly lose someone you really love, you don't "just move on". I mean, you do, but at the same you don't. Time doesn't heal all wounds, the sorrow and the pain will stick, but those things can and will consume you eventually, if you don't deal with the death of a loved one in the right way. No matter, how strong you think you are.

This poor family was freaking traumatized by his death. He was taken so violently, almost as if he was murdered. I think it probably would have been a lot different if he had died of a heart attack or in his sleep or something because at least it would have been soft and they would have known he didn't suffer. :(

i am so sorry for cheryl she is a really strong mother !! it hurts so much and she is so right we all wake up every morning and know that a person we loved and appreciated died and wont come back to tell us this was onlya long and terrible dream,no we have to understand that he left us,all over again i think this is probably the most painful thing about the death,its knowing that you will never be able to hug and show that person your love anymore. It really hurts. i love you paul :( please give us a sign that you are happy and loved up there as well as you are down here.
