Preparing for Francine

Today we're dealing with the remnants of Hurricane Francine where I live. So in preparation, I spent several hours taking care of some things in the garden yesterday. I made sure the tomato plants were all trellised well and harvested everything that was ripe or almost ripe. I also needed to get my dry beans harvested before the rain came, so spend a good amount of time picking the trellis clean! All in all, a productive day with a nice little harvest for this time of year. I hope if Francine is impacting where you live, that you and yours stay safe!

Thank you. We had some decent wind, but the garden faired well and had way less rain than predicted.

Nice baskets! Beautiful harvest, you have reason to be proud. From your video I can see the weather changing as you work. Checking the weather, seems Francine has hit land doing quite a bit of damage, flooding etc.. Not sure where you live, but praying you all are safe.

Thanks! The wind definitely started picking up while I was working. We ended up with one day of crazy wind and only about an inch of rain. So everything faired well.
