I do agree some Europeans can be full of double standards, but I guess in this case the hype around Vinicius when he arrived in Real worked against him. He arrived as a super expensive young player who was expected to be the new phenomenon, but that wasn't what he showed in his first seasons. At his age, Neymar, Mbappé and Haaland were all consistently more efficient, while also being very hyped. It's also true Vinicius left Brazil too early, with lots of room for improvement still. You see that with many promising Brazilians that go to Europe too early and for various reasons don't adapt there too well, at least not in the beginning - see Gabriel Barbosa and Gérson, both disappointing in Italy, but became beasts once they returned to Brazil, or Lucas Paquetá, who was disappointing in Milan but is doing pretty well in Lyon. All these guys are very talented, but modern football is as much about training and commitment as inate talent - and that's a lesson Brazilians apparently still have to learn. And that's why I'm so optimistic for Vinicius: he has superb skill, and he's showing to have the work ethic needed to keep improving. Cristiano Ronaldo himself was far from being a great scorer in his first seasons, but he only improved throughout the years. If Vinicius keeps taking CR7 as inspiration, I do believe he may be a Ballon D'Or contender in a few years.

I'll be the first to admit that I was quite the Vinicius hater over the last few seasons. You could clearly see the talent, but he was so inconsistent and would just vanish in games. I would tell people all the time that if Rodrygo got the same amount of playing time as Vini, that he would flourish and become the player we always thought Vinicius would be. I was literally bad mouthing him this year during the Levante game before he scored his brace. He seems so much more confident and much more efficient, especially in one on one situations. I hope that he continues to develop into the dynamic player we've always seen glimpses of.
Man, people really disrespect this guy. He is an amazingly talented player and is so complete. Even his defensive skills are great. He still has work to do on his finishing and decision making but I’m convinced sooner rather than later he will improve these and become a world class player.
It's quite sad that he needed Ancelotti to "spoon feed" him about something so clear to more mature people: "Stop showing off too much. Score a lot of goals first, then do whatever you want after". To me, maturity and decision making, are what separated between him and Rodrygo.

Here's the thing, I would also give 200% knowing that the club is offering 200 million euros for a player in my position who is a world cup winner. He really puts an effort on his craft and works hard, the kids is very humble and hard working... But Real are buying Mbappe.
Alright don't jinx it abeg

Anyone that knows anything about football knows Vinicius is a special kind of player.
What ppl dont even know him like that yet ....u just got an agenda .fool
I think last season during El Clasico I realized he really needed to just improve with finishing more so than ever and now it's nice to see he's improving he's very very young so it's only a matter of time we see his true prime. Don't ever get the outcrys or insults of players that are younger than 24. They are human after all.
I mean yeah if you don’t enjoy playing futbol like muddassir said then I think you’ll fail as a player since you don’t really have passion or even enjoying yourself in the pitch 🤷🏻♂️
Waking up to some RabonaTv 🤌🏽🤌🏽
i heard that he got really inspired with ronaldo's work ethic n wanted to replicate that
Man, people really disrespect this guy. He is an amazingly talented player and is so complete. Even his defensive skills are great. He still has work to do on his finishing and decision making but I’m convinced sooner rather than later he will improve these and become a world class player.
Miraculously, that's how. It's like he got replaced by his evil twin or something haha I'm loving this new version of Vini
Even last night against Mallorca , he was incredible, missed a good chance but created so many chances and got an assist .

Good stuff. Cheers
It's quite sad that he needed Ancelotti to "spoon feed" him about something so clear to more mature people: "Stop showing off too much. Score a lot of goals first, then do whatever you want after".
To me, maturity and decision making, are what separated between him and Rodrygo.
I'm pretty sure Ronaldo had to be told to stop dribbling too much as well and he's the greatest player of all time now
@@denilsondaniel7886 At his 21 years of age? Obviously, NOPE! 🤣
@@CaraVerde actually yes. in the dressing room ronaldo was made fun of by his teamates. he was of similar age. he then went on to improve and became one of the best players in the world. in his breakthrough he managed to score 17goals in the league. then the next year he won the ballondor (or next 2 years idk)
@@dubialexander9802 Ronaldo practically one of the players who started the trend from the scratch. All Vini had to do is running on already paved road and paying attention to everything his predecessors did or didn't do for many years. But, nope, he still decided to go on show off road and failed miserably 🤷.
@@CaraVerde you have a point. But vini is a workaholic. Now he knows what he is doing and will improve. Heck, we asked for him to improve last season and he improved
